I still really like it in soft and fresh snow, there's enough stiffness to really lean back and you can count on it holding everything together, it always feels stable. I ride a couple of different sets of blindings on this in different clips, though mostly it's Burton cartels, which are the black and the pinky red ones, as well as some Burton step-on X. Step-on bindings were pretty handy when we were hiking features in the park just trying to learn new tricks

Capita Mercury Snowboard Review Part 2

 Hey, it's Loki here with an update to the Capita Mercury review.

 I haven't ever done a second part review, but since the first video I've spent a lot

 more time on the board, especially in the park.

 If you haven't seen the first part, the Mercury is a medium stiff, all-mountain board with

 camber between your feet and rocker on the nose and tail.

 It isn't a cheap board, but costing a bit more, there are a few noticeable benefits,

 The Mercury ended up being my board that I would take out if I didn't know what the

 snow was going to be like and didn't know what sort of terrain we'd be riding.

 This Mercury is a 157, but I originally bought in that size to get a good balance between

 everyday riding as well as some decent float in powder.

 I gave it a bit of a detune between the feet as it was still pretty sharp and then started

 Also when I say park, I mean that I'm riding small and medium rails and boxes, nothing

 The 157 sounds pretty long for a park board for me, at 6ft tall and 155lbs, but once I

 I think that the rocker on the nose and tail helped make it feel a little bit shorter anyway.

 version of this, onto anything, so I ended up practising that a lot.

So the overall flex of this board comes in at just past middle of the road all-mountain freestyle

 You got that rocker in the nose and the tail. So all you need to do is really pop into it, flex it a little bit. You're going to lock into that press. You're going to feel the camber take over, give you a little bit of fight, which is going to give you that snap out of it, but it doesn't overwhelm you

 I rode this board at Copper Mountain and what can only be described as the ultimate way to test any board because we had sunny bluebird skies, cloudy skies, cooler temps, warmer temps, fresh snow, chunder snow, frozen snow, heavy wet dead-ass powder, ice, death cookies, creamy groomers, firm fast groomers, and I rode it with my Rome black label bindings and my K2 Thraxis boots. So the overall flex of this board comes in at just past middle of the road all-mountain freestyle. You got a little bit more play in the tips, then it stiffens up about midway from the up kick to the insert pack through the middle with a noticeable amount of torsional flex but nothing overwhelming with it. In fact, it's kind of just a predictable flex with this board although I will say it does feel stiffer than previous generations that I've ridden
