My last boards were Capita BSOD & Scott Stevens but I admit I got disappointed by this brand in terms of sensations, compared to the Lib Tech Jamie Lynn deck that made to me the best impression when a friend made me try one.  I wouldn't say it's specifically meant for that, but the light nimbleness makes it so you can still have fun on this board. Surprisingly, this board will be able to control an edge much smoother than you expect based on its weight. It's still going to initiate a turn pretty quick, but you're not going to get too much of a flex that you feel like you're really making only sharp turns. So the Black Snowboard of Death really handles better than expected as a performance board

 I'd say I wouldn't recommend this board for more, again, beginner riders, people that are a little more park-style oriented too. This is not a super freestyle minded deck. It has that capabilities if you know what you're doing. It does not mean that's where it really excels in performance

 So the Black Snowboard of Death by Capra is here for that all-mountain directional rider

 that wants to get the flair of being able to freeride wherever they need to go and the

 nibble and light ability to take this all over the mountain.

 This board has a lot more liveliness to it than you would expect.

 Really, I was kind of thrown off by this board that it was a lot more fun, a lot more stable,

 but it felt like nothing in my hands before even putting it on.

 As Capra is really known for, they make a lot of good park-friendly boards, and even

 though this is a directional freeride board at its core, it still has the ability here

 and there to give you that freedom to mess around, play around.

 super expert advanced board that I would send out to people who really know what they're

 doing if there's no specific style of riding they're looking for.

 This is a fun all mountain board that'll get you to point A to point B super fun way and

 So that camber profile of flatten the tail, going to camber, going to rocker, makes the tail a little more difficult to butter than the nose, but it makes the tail pop a little bit better than the nose. So for those that are more into, you know, generating their air from their tail, you know, which most do, most get directional air, this is a great board. At this size, we're riding a 56 and that fit me pretty good. The 56 and 59 work well for me

 So overall this, you know, this black snowboard of death keeps evolving, just slight tweaks every year, just keeps getting better, the more dynamic core yet still not as stiff and mean as before, but still carries its speed really well, still damp, poppy, powerful. And it's that board that lives in between that all mountain and free ride world. So if you want to kind of ramp up, get a little more directional than let's say the mercury, then you know, this might be the next, next step in the, you know, the, the capital line.
