I was assured by the tech that it was refurbished to meet Epson quality standards. I'm not sure what that means any more. After using the printer for a week (New-New-Not so new printer), I have determined that the printer still prints the lines and bands at standard quality on paper thicker than standard copy paper. Yes, I put the paper in the appropriate cassettes

So as above I have a Canon TR4520 printer, it was connected via ipp (not google cloud) and has been working fine up until today, it just suddenly stopped. It works fine printing from my phone, so the printer is connected to the network properly.. I removed the printer from the Chrome printing panel, then tried to add it back, there is no printer definition for the TR4520, now I am not even sure how it was configured originally, I know it said it was via IPP, and it said it was the correct model

I needed an inexpensive printer for school, this one works! I haven’t had any issues with it, it’s not heavy duty or anything and it takes a couple of minutes but it gets the job done and it’s a great price.

Up to the purchase of this one, my Epson WF 4740 was my favorite printer (in my classroom) but this one has it beat it's quieter, slightly faster, and ink will be WAY cheaper. Ex: XL cartridges did 900bl/650 color for $50 bl/137 for the 3 color The ET bottles do 7500 bl/6000 color and cost $30 bl/$67 for 3 colors t by the time I buy 3 cartridges each of black and colored XLs for my WF I would save more than the difference in the price of the printer and still have ink in the ET. For me, just in school use, that would be less than a year to have my printer paid for in ink savings.

4 it keeps telling me that the ink is low when it has the cartridges that came with it in it, I have had it 3 weeks and only have printed about 30 items mostly black. 5 My fault, but I did not make sure that it had a second paper cartridge so I have to change the paper to envelopes and back every time I need to print an envelope. 6 it is rather difficult to clear a jammed piece of paper. 7 it is rather loud when printing

Toner cartridges for colour laser printers are extremely expensive while ink bottles for tank printers like the Epson Ecotank ET-5800 are extremely inexpensive.

This printer connects automatically to wifi and my cricut and have rarely had a delay on it printing when I click print(being cricut compatible) 4. For the very affordable price this is a great office printer. For someone who needs to scan, be reliable on wifi, easy set up, low maintenance, and print normal documents, this may be the right printer for you. 5

the first cartridge ran for only 3 weeks. I bought an XL cartridge 3 days ago, and it is already showing low ink, even though I print no more than 10 pages per week.

The Epson Ecotank ET-8500 is a good choice. It's slightly above your budget but the savings in ink cartridges will more than make up the difference.

Printer does not take up much space for an office that may be a bit small. These have been some random observations after a week of light use. Will add others later if I think they may be of use to someone considering a purchase of this printer.

The printer is not small, but not massive. It definitely has some mass to it, and does not feel cheaply built out of the box. Truth be told, I needed another person to help lift it out of the box. It takes up a decent footprint on the desk, but that is also to be expected from a quality machine
