 It'S not like cheap metal or anything like that, you're really holding like good quality stainless steel. So i really like it okay. So after looking at the box, read your instructions, that should be the first thing you do, which i did not do so um when you're stacking, these you actually don't put the lid and then the next pot and pan. You actually just stack the pots and pans within each other, and then you put the glass lids on top, so this pot and pan you just decorate this, so here we go here and the great thing about this stacking it this way is that it actually saves Even more space, so that is always a good thing that into that one, and then this and then you just throw the lids on top, don't actually throw them and you actually have more space than you even had before

Calphalon Premier Space Saving Cookware | My first Impression and Review - YAY _ Unboxing!

 I was beyond excited to get them and for the first few months they were great but they don’t hold up. They cook great for the most part but the durability is horrible. The design and look are great, if only the durability were as good. I have used Calphalon for years but will be going to a different brand after this

I got this set a year ago and have to say I’m extremely disappointed in them. After about 6 months of use the underside of the pans started getting wear patterns on them and one pan now has deep grooves on it. The larger skillet is now unusable due to everything sticking in it no matter what I use to try to prevent it. Very disappointed

Disappointed after 1 year

 I even did not put my catholic premier space saving cookware set into the dishwasher and it still like got sharp at the top, so i am very excited to just start using these and just go back to the old-fashioned nonstick cookware set. This is actually the two and a half quart here's another lid, a lot of lids at the very top another one, oh nice. This is the nice deep, [, Music ] one, and it is really hard to see this is an eight quart, so that is nice. Non-Stick and they're they seem they're, really pretty and they're heavy duty

 Then i got the calphalon premier space saving cookware set, which did the same thing that my tripod did, which it started to come apart or something, and it was very sharp at the top. So the good thing is calphons. Customer service is amazing, so they sent me another cookware set this time. I am doing a unboxing of a non-stick calthalon premiere nonstick hard anodized cookware set

 I will let you guys know, but this should not happen. I think that they ended up. I don't even see the tri-ply on their websites anymore, so i think that they went ahead and just like stopped selling them and now they're moved on to bigger and better things. I hope so um, and this is the cookware set that you can use and even leave out

 I haven't tried the short handles (both on the lids and the really short handles on the sauce and sauté pans), but I imagine they're not useable without oven mitts. Debating whether or not to keep these, as the "stainless steel handles stay cool while cooking" is definitely not as described. Will probably cook some noodles to see if the whole handle gets untouchable after 10 minutes of being on heat.

A good third of the frying pan handle gets too hot to touch (close to cast iron handle hot), another 3rd gets warm, and the end stays cool. You have to use the handle with the back of your hand at the very end of the handle or else you'll likely burn yourself. I haven't tried the short handles (both on the lids and the really short handles on the sauce and sauté pans), but I imagine they're not useable without oven mitts.  (I had a cheap Paula Dean set that looked better after a year) so for the price I would expect better durability.  I think for the price you can find other space saving options for less.

Space saving... Yes!  Durable... not as expected

 It has the same diameter as the fry pan which has a 10 inch diameter. I am used to cooking on an 11 1/2 to 12 inch diameter sauté pan. The larger pan I can cook a whole meal for the family. Unfortunately with this small pan I cannot fit as much

 Now for the good stuff. I absolutely LOVE cooking with this set! It heats evenly, retains it heat, and clean up is a breeze. I also love the lids on this set! They lay flat and the handles stick out to the side rather than being on top. This is great when you are boiling water or cooking items at a high temperature

 The larger pan I can cook a whole meal for the family. Unfortunately with this small pan I cannot fit as much. The second negative is the size of the 2.5 qt pot

 Would not buy again based on the weight of the pans when loaded. Extremely heavy and unsafe to lift when boiling water in the dutch oven. Also the handles get VERY hot. I would buy again if not so heavy to lift but for now will use my old pans for some uses

 What makes it harder to clean is the fact that nonstick pans need soft sponges to clean them without damaging them, making whatever is stuck on them even more irritating to get rid of. - **Largest con** After owning this set for less than a month, there is already a chip in the non-stick coating on one of the pans. I never put it in the dishwasher (even though it is supposedly safe to do so with these) and always wait until they are completely cool to clean them with a soft sponge. Then, i immediately let them dry, so they are not sitting in water which supposedly can damage the nonstick coating after a long period of time

 Even then, with the pan that I typically use once a day (so about 19 times now) already has a chip on the nonstick coating. (pictures attached)  I will edit this post in the future if anything changes, but overall I think it is still worth it if you have a really small storage space for pots and pans. But if you are purely looking for a high quality nonstick pan that can last you years, you should probably look elsewhere.

Great space saving pan that wont last long in the kitchen

These are very well made pots and pans - but very, very heavy!  I would preferred them to be a bit lighter as it causes me to think twice about using them.  But if you don’t mind the weight, they are high quality.

I’d give this 4.5 stars if I could. This is great cookware and does save on space. It heats evenly and is so easy to clean

Best cookware I’ve owned with one minor flaw.

I bought this for my wife. She loves the set. Stacks perfectly in our cupboard. The vessels heat evenly and quickly

 The nonstick surfaces allow us to use less oil and they clean in a snap. The reason for the 4 stars is that the 6 quart stock pot is not perfectly round - has a flat spot. I contacted Calphalon to initiate a warranty replacement. They opened a case and asked for pictures

  Update: I called Calphalon Customer Service. The person I spoke with was very courteous and professional. She apologized for the problem I was having with the 6 quart stock pot. After reviewing the pictures I emailed to them she initiated a replacement stating that she will personally monitor the case to make sure that the replacement is promptly sent to me

Not non-stick after a month, lids catch food

The pans worked great for about 6 months and then the nonstick property started to fade. I made sure to hand wash these gently as to prolong the nonstick effect. Kind of disappointed that they didn’t last for at least a year :(
