This waffle marker is great and easy to use! The book comes with helpful tips and delicious recipes my only complaint is; is that the handle get REALLY HOT so if you buy this be carful! Otherwise I would give it 5 stars all around!

Same thing happened. After 15 minutes, the maker said it was preheated. I had knob set on 3. When the first batch was done, they looked good but a little lighter than I prefer, so I turned knob up to 5 and when it preheated, I put in the second batch of batter

The recipe that came with it is OK, but I found a much better one from King Arthur Flour. After experimentation, I found my ideal time approximately twice what is stated

This is why I gave it only 4 stars. U gotta package it right at the warehouse for something this high priced. I have used a mix where u add only oil and water and have also used a recipe from scratch when making waffles and both versions were delish!

I would NOT recommend this waffle maker at all, especially given the price. A basic intro waffle maker would be a better value. I don’t make waffles too often so it’s not that big of a deal, but I’m still bummed about my decision to buy this waffle maker because I’m never excited to eat the waffles from this machine.

The device is fairly bulky and takes up a fair amount of counter space which makes storage options questionable. Although, there is a simple locking feature on the side that would help the appliance stay closed if stored sideways somewhere.

I had over a year and nine months to make the decision in purchasing a brand new waffle maker, so I decided to make the purchase on Amazon.com. At first glance I thought the Krups Belgium Waffle Maker would be about the size of 8 inch cooking pan. In reality the waffle maker is more like 12 inches long and some what bulky for my kitchenette

The bad reviews for this product are from idiots that either don't know how to take care of their things or just like to complain. Don't use oil, butter or cooking spray like some of these Dolts have, turn it on, let it heat, pour 1 1/4 cup of waffle batter in the center and close. Make sure the setting is at 4 1/2 for darkness. When it beeps, it's ready, it will not stick

Upon opening the box, the product looked a bit flimsy and of poor quality. It also had a strong chemical odor. The design was nice and simplistic, though.

I had it replaced under warranty, which was nice, but now the replacement waffle maker is doing the same thing. There seems to be a design defect with this waffle maker that causes the beeper to go bad, probably due to moisture from the steam.

The first thing that stood out to me about this Calphalon Waffle Maker, is the durability. It looks and feels very solid. That was important to me, because the last waffle maker I owned had cheap plastic parts and ended up breaking after less than a year. I really don't have that concern with this one

This waffle iron feels flimsy and not well made, as evidenced by the malfunctioning alarm sound. I give it 2 stars because I like the depth and size of the waffles it makes and it is convenient to be able to remove the pans in order to wash them.
