 I now bring my bag into the house to avoid exposing them to the temperature changes (my wife thinks I'm nuts)  Overall I love the irons. I have played at least 60 rounds with them and they perform as good as when they were new.

 I have had every head come off every iron and the 6 iron three times. The two additions times it came off were after getting them repaired at the PGA Superstore. Started bring them to Roger Dunn to get them repaired and they seem to be holding good now. This also happened with my SIM Max irons and the M-4's I had prior to that

 We know there's a market for it. A lot of brands are releasing premium iron sets, and TaylorMade, this is their offering, and it's definitely one of the better ones for sure. It's just something you need to kind of weigh up. If you're looking for maximum forgiveness, I mean, an iron that looks pretty good, it's still

 It's not something I would like to look down on. It's also got a much lighter, almost like a matte finish on it, like a very non-reflexive finish whereas the P790 has got a bit more gloss to it. So two fairly different irons in terms of size, similar shape but there are some key differences there. I've got this in the Nippon NS Pro 950 Neo shaft, so a new shaft for TaylorMade

It's a really premium, high strength, low weight ratio material so with this metal that means that TaylorMade can make the face a lot thinner and save a lot of weight where they didn't need it and employ this tungsten weight here, this kind of back bar that slots in in the back of the club and I've actually held it separately when I met TaylorMade recently and it's actually really, really heavy

 It concentrates an awful lot of mass low on the back of the club head. It's actually up to 119 grams per club head on average which is nearly half the mass of the head itself so it really is concentrating an awful lot of weight where TaylorMade feel that it's most optimum in terms of performance. It's going to help really lower the CGA. It's got the lowest centre of gravity of any P series iron which should help give you a lot of launch, easy launch and also stabilise that club head on those off centre hits
