I do not like the thermo material used to cushion your head/neck. It makes me sweat from my ears down to my shoulder blades. I will have very wet skin from sweating so much. It does hold my head up if I fall asleep in front of the television - preventing neck strain/sprain

It's designed very thin behind the next and to rest flat against the seat back there. It's good and not what you're afraid of. #2) Memory foam. It's first but soft in a very good way--it's way better than just stuffing

I will also use it for car trips. I rated it a 4 overall since it didn’t work great for my husband. I would certainly recommend this travel pillow but suggest you order it early enough to test it before your trip to see if it is the right one for you.

If not, then not even a higher quality one like this will be worth the price. I've had it on long plane trips but it just tends to get more in the way than be helpful, for me anyway. I originally gave it 3 stars but that wasn't too fair because for a neck pillow, it is a nice material and is soft but firm somehow at the same time. So it's a tool that doesn't work too well for me, but a good one

It’s too much for my little head! The height is up to my ears, knocking my AirPods out frequently. Feels like my neck is pushed forward so the back of my neck hurts. Not a good fit for me unfortunately.

However, it is bulky to pack if you are packing light, and it is not made for small people. I am 5', and my proportions were to small for this to fit comfortably. I am sure that if you are average to large it would be a wonderful travel pillow. This is why I gave it a 3 in some categories

On the other hand, it fits my 6' tall husband quite well. The top of the high sides are below his ears but still gives good stability.

If I wasn't leaving on a trip I would have returned it for a replacement. The pillow it's self is wonderful, most comfortable fitting head rest pillow I have ever seen and I have a whole shelf of them, not even kidding I must have at least 20 of them. From blow up ones, to sky malls one which is not comfortable, to every bean and corn filled one ever made. This is the best and can't wait to use it just wish they had better quality control to catch the not sewing of them

I actually purchased this particular pillow for my mom, who has neck issues and is often in pain. She often uses a neck pillow while watching TV at night and at other times she is sitting for a long period of time. She is so happy with the support this pillow provides; also the memory foam and soft cover are warm and comforting. Great purchase!

Third pillow because the other two fell off my bag in the airports, because the straps for securing are not good (Somewhere in the bumps of transiting the airport, the straps let go and pillow falls off unnoticed in the crush of passengers). In fact, I stuffed an expensive no-wrinkle Filson shirt inside the last one, thinking it was a clever travel hack for an extra clean shirt. Lost the pillow at LHR and the expensive shirt! Hate the securing straps!! Will have someone sew in some leather straps and snaps on this one. If I lose this one, will try another brand

It also squishes into the travel bag very easily and can be strapped to your luggage; it's very light and small so really not a problem when adding to your carry-on situation at the airport. The main reason I dropped a couple of stars was because the outer cover started wearing through in a few spots after only 2 uses. For the price I would really expect this to last a while, but I'm not sure it'll survive another trip. Still - it helped me fall asleep and stay asleep comfortably without drooling on 2 7+ hour flights, so I'm happy with the use I got out of it!
