 The paddle shifters and E-brake preset keybind are not up to par as its hard to press the "B" button to E-brake while the wheel is turning. The compatible games themselves (forza/gta/etc.) seem to not want to respond correctly and is too hard to drive, i myself had the easiest time with it amongst the users and was still finding it impossible to enjoy. The pressure system behind the wheel is fine but again, you can't turn when whatever you're driving is constantly un-correctly (on a phsyic's meaning) turning out of control, not to mention the stock settings of the wheel are horrid, you feel like the game is running the wheel and you have no say, i had to rigor myself through hours of tuning and tweaking the settings in the game (not even on the wheel options itself) just to make is somewhat driveable and it still would not run correctly, save yourself the $350 and wait a few years until people like logitech finally tune these correctly.

 It seems like all the compatibility wasn't there yet, as a matter of fact, Logitech just reached out to me today that they are working on a new driver. Again, this wheel is not going to be out until next month, correct, so they're still working on finalizing the driver. So that also tells me that there's a difference between this and the g20 nine, because we didn't g29 worked on everything, yes on the PC out of the box, where this does not yet I know again, they're working on it again. I talked to somebody from Logitech

 We would have liked to seen higher resolution in the petals, because the 8-bit petal resolution isn't doing it. And, lastly, the wheel and pedal set is a little pricey, yet three, nine nine. Ninety nine! So that's going to do it for the cons now onto some pros, and the first pro is. This is the first logitech option for the xbox one and having all the navigation buttons right on the steering wheel is really nice

Now look at this when I press my fingers on it, you have to see it's very difficult to get that part in it's just very tight. So, yes, all these pedals feel different, so yeah accelerator, easy clutch firm and also the brakes really stiff. Now, one of my major worries is that this thing would slide around if you're trying to stomp on the brakes

 Okay, so what I'm going to do is start properly driving this thing in three two one: [ Music, ], [ Applause ]. So, as I was saying before, the shuttle is quite good. It'S quite a soft feel when you're pressing it down on the board also when you're using the clutch it's respectable, but the brakes are so damn sharp. So I'm also going to turn left down here and floor [ Music, ], [ Applause, ] yeah

 It really draws well with the wheel now as I set the start, I turned my force feedback down because at 100 %, which people for some reason recommend is quite violent. So I'm not going to do that, I'm leaving it down. So it is nice and easy to drive now from what I know the way I've set up this wheel - it's not for drifting. I could do that, but I haven't

 Well, at that, while i knew the tray would move, i was always pretty sure that the wheel wasn't going to after that plug in the usb into your console and the wheel is good to go. I mean the setup can feel a little bit obnoxious if you tear it down after every session, but even so, it's not that bad once powered the wheel will calibrate itself and like that, it's time to race, whether you're a hardcore, forza player or even project cars. When you play with the logitech g920, you got ta understand you start from ground zero. It'S completely different than playing with the controller which you would assume, but it's not even just okay hit the gas and steer no from the get go

 It will. When i first started playing, i felt the wheel moving so much. I thought. Okay, maybe some assists are on in the game, doing work for me, but that was actually the wheel moving realistically and telling me to grab a hold of it and take control, and once you commit and take some time to practice, you'll find that this thing is Serious business and serious fun as well, featuring dual motor force feedback

 The whole force factor part about the wheel, comes into play and shows just why you're paying 399 dollars to get your hands on this thing in the first place, the weight of the steering. You feel that the bumps in the road you feel that under oversteer yeah, you feel those too and it'll throw you off at first. It will. When i first started playing, i felt the wheel moving so much

Logitech G920 Driving Force - Review

 But it's awesome since it really helps keep you stable.  Most of the video reviews and such talked about how it takes time to convert from a controller to a wheel, and that you can expect to "relearn" since it's a whole different experience. I didn't have that issue, since my racing sim gaming was so minimal. I took to it quite quickly, and inside of about three or four races, I had a good feel for it, and my performance soared compared to the hand held controller

.  But in April I grabbed an Oculus Rift, and of course one of the things I ultimately had to try was a racing game, and it really turned it into a different experience. Enough that I decided I needed to try a wheel and pedals to control it, not just the Xbox controller. So I did some digging, and this was the one that seemed to hit the right price point and was supported in the Project Cars game I have on the Oculus system

 I may not know enough about these though to have the "right feel" for how it SHOULD be, and that may be why it doesn't bother me. But as a total racing sim tyro, it's not causing me any issues at all.  For me, this really became a "Wow, I'm sure glad I got this!" kind of an item the first day I had it. With the VR headset, this really completes the immersion

  There was a firmware update right away, so I ran that as well. Then it was time to play.  Project Cars in the Oculus had support for this, so that's what I tried first, and then realized that this is apparently a game that reverses the pedals by default, so I had to go into the options and remap all three pedals to get it to work. But once I did that, I was quite blown away by the experience

Any reasonable braking percentage beyond that (and given the crude nature of racing/racing sim games, this range is where you’re often going to be; brake to the floor), is just impossible

 Every time I touch the wheel even a little during this process, it immediately stops, becomes unresponsive, and I have to go unplug and plug it back in.  3. This one’s the worst. The brake pedal

 I also bought the manual transmission add on which makes the driving experience even more realistic. I wouldn’t actually buy a wheel without a manual because it make you more involved in the drive.  Overall, the G920 and G29 are excellent and I actually plan to buy the newer G923 once they go on sale for the holidays.

  It’s a gear driven wheel opposed to belt driven or gear and belt combo. I actually believe the gear driven wheels are more reliable, they don’t feel as good as belt driven but the overall experience is so close, it’s hard to justify the price the increase. I also bought the manual transmission add on which makes the driving experience even more realistic. I wouldn’t actually buy a wheel without a manual because it make you more involved in the drive
