 Now here's the cool, I mean even just, look at that, it's so nice, and here, am I going to do this right? So here's the graphic, let's see. So I chose the yellow space skull, I think it's called, oh there we go, so the space yellow, the DH space yellow, it's awesome, I'm sure I'm going to scratch this up within the first like couple days, but yeah, this thing is great, I've been waiting so long for this, finally came in, I'm going to go out and test it, here's like, look, even just spins, so nice, it's so nice when you get new, like when you just, you spend the money on something that you're really going to enjoy, nice double drop, and apparently just the shape itself feels, gives a bit more of that snowboard feel, so I'm really looking forward to it, the lanyards, it was certainly a different shape, and it was good, it just, it wasn't crazy how the front end is wider than the back end, sometimes my back foot would think it was kind of getting onto the board, and it wasn't because it wasn't in line with the front of the board, the width of the front of the board, my foot would be like over here to the right a little bit, so my back foot thought oh, I can do that too, and instead I would kind of miss sometimes, I would hit the pavement, so anyways, this is awesome, I'm excited, this is a sweet, sweet board, and I'm going to go out and ride it now, and so let's go see what, I would say let's see what it can do, but I'm not going to be an example of what it can do, so this is going to be more, but let's see what I can do on it, all right, let's go.  Hey guys, so I haven't put out a video in a while, I've been riding around the neighborhood a lot with my kids, getting a lot more time in on the Lanyard's Battle Axe. That was the borrowed board that a friend of mine convinced his son to lend me. I always found it a bit too bouncy, it was just a little too flexible, I didn't like the height, whenever I'd go to sort of push it felt like a little too wavy for me, just a little too floaty. Then one of the things I found out is boards have restrictions, weight limits on them, so when you get up to the 200s, which I'm at, you have to really start paying attention to the weight limitations on the board itself

The Lanyard's Battle Axe, I think it kind of topped out around the 185 mark, so I was at least 15 pounds over it, so this thing was pretty bouncy, at least too bouncy for me. So I did a lot of research, and as a snowboarder I wanted something that would give me kind of that same feeling, so close to the ground, really kind of locked in, a lot of control, and what the research came up with was the Buston Board Sportster, it's got a double drop and apparently it's awesome

 So I guess the interesting sort of organic thing that happened was I ended up in the process of trying to learn how to make a skateboard, making all these weird shapes. Yeah. And when I got to the city, you know, I needed a weird board for the city. I definitely needed soft wheels, but eventually also realized I need shapes

 So we designed this bag so that the interior compartment holds the electric board. We use all metal buckles and things because we wanted it to be strong enough because they carry a lot in this bag. Whoa. So the interior compartment will carry the electric board

This deck is great! I’m 120 pounds but I decided to get the flex 3 because I didn’t want too much flex. I was skeptical when I heard it has spray on grip tape, but it actually works pretty well. The only downside of it is that it’s kinda flaky at first. I’ve been using this board to cruise around and do some slight downhill and it hasn’t failed me yet

it's the sweetest ride you will ever have. make sure you get the right flex for your weight and you will be rewarded big time. It's quite on the road does not send bad vibes and it just feels awesome.

Okay, so this is just basic flex stats, anyone who knows the load board should know this, but just showing you, extremely flexy. Okay, so about the load Vanguard, things I really like about it, it is really nice for just cruising around, going around. This is an ocean city, so not real big, but this board is good for transportation here

 It's made out of bamboo with some fiberglass. It has a pretty thin and has a nice cosmetic.  Sliding, almost this is a bit higher up, it's not the best for sliding, it can do slides. The problem I run into, I'm not sure if it's because I'm not experienced enough, because I just got this pretty recently. But when I try to do a slide, for some reason, I might really need to loosen my trucks up, because they're pretty loose right now. But when I go into a slide, these two wheels here and here, because I'm riding goofy, these two wheels will sometimes come up, that's happened to me a lot

 Bamboo is a great material to work with because it grows so fast when it's out in the wild. So instead of chopping down some old maple trees, chopping down a weed bamboo, making skateboards out of it, that's really cool.
