Burton Gore-Tex Gondy Leather Mitts vs Hestra Heli Ski Mitt - Women's

So far these gloves are awesome. My older gloves were just meh, so when I got these in and put them on I was impressed because they feel like a real premium product. The Gore-Tex leather gives it a durable feel on the outside, while the inside is nicely insulated with a soft synthetic that wicks moisture and there is a good amount of wiggle room to trap in warm air. Have only used them a couple times. Not as warm as I thought they would be. Would have given them five stars if they were warmer.

I struggle with finding gloves that will keep my hands toasty and am willing to pay $$$ for warmth. However, these didn’t appear to be any warmer than my cheap Head mittens that have separate finger compartments inside which I love as it adds to the warm. Wish Hestra made a similar mitten!

I used the gloves, while snow blowing around my home.They matched my expectations, but I would expect nothing less from Burton products. The temperature was in the teens and my hands stayed very warm and dry.

) As I have Raynaud’s, I really need a good fit. So I’m returning these and getting a 10 in men’s. I wish they had a 10 in women’s because I like the color choices better. Oh well
