Burton AK Gore-Tex Clutch Mitts vs Marmot Moraine Mitt - Women's

Ive been using them for weeks snowboarding and hands have always been 100% dry. 4 stars just because they could be a little warmer.

Bought these to replace my old gloves for skiing. I quickly found out after getting into skiing a bit more these past few years that gloves are the wrong choice--my fingers would freeze after a few hours out there--so I switched to mittens!

The mitt seems like not completely bonded to the outer walls, but it seems like it's good enough to where it's stitched across the top here, here and ...

They look decently constructed. They're definitely warm. They look good. Just very, very narrow, especially the wrist elastic

Please do not read this 3 star review as these being mediocre/sub-par gloves. Easily a 5 star product if it fits you correctly.

Overall, the quality is there except for the sizing issue and they are quite comfortable. I would recommend them if money is not an issue and if you are wanting a high-quality set of mittens.

Sizing: I typically wear a large FINGERED glove and had to size down to a medium for the mitt. YMMV.

For temperatures of around 0 degrees Fahrenheit, these did a pretty good job of keeping my hands warm. They were comfortable to wear and even when tumbling in the snow a few times, I did not feel any wetness so the waterproofing worked well. Overall, a nice pair of mittens but beware of the sizing.
