Burton AK Gore-Tex Clutch Mitts vs Burton Gore-Tex Mittens

After one week of snowboard vacation with reasonable use the leather gloves were damaged. Not so durable.

They definitely would not stand up to the 5 days a week of riding the my old Burton's survived for years. Also, ordered XL and glad I did. They are about the same size as my old L Burton's from 2008. The builds look the same but all the materials seem thinner and less durable

Ive been using them for weeks snowboarding and hands have always been 100% dry. 4 stars just because they could be a little warmer.

Haven't used them yet, but not much insulation in the gloves. The inserts are thick so it may give you some warms on extremely cold days. I had SWANY in the past and they were great, but very, very pricey. I will try them next skiing season, but if they don't keep my hands warms I will go back to SWANY

The mitt seems like not completely bonded to the outer walls, but it seems like it's good enough to where it's stitched across the top here, here and ...

It's been a cold winter in Michigan. My gloves (five digits for thumb and four fingers on each) barely kept me warm, especially if there was any 'wind.' I bought these, and paid a high price (for me). They work! They keep my hands warm, are adjustable at the wrist, and have an 'inner' glove should you need to remove a mitten

Please do not read this 3 star review as these being mediocre/sub-par gloves. Easily a 5 star product if it fits you correctly.

Mittens to the rescue!! Winter hasn't set in yet, so they havent gotten the full test, but the quality is there and so far they've worked great in the low 40's, my fingers stay warm. Only downside is the color I was able to get when they were on sale, they kinda clash with everything I own, but correct fit was more important. No regrets. Touchscreen use is a little finicky, but that is probably due to the case/screen protector I have in combination with the gloves

5 stars because the function I really bought these for - keeping warm while snowboarding and still having some sort of dexterity - works perfectly, shockingly well for how thin they are.

I found those difficult to use, because it was hard to get them on and tightened using just one hand, but that might just be a dexterity issue specific to me. I did stick my hand through them, but they weren't tight enough to hold my mitten on if I took it off. That would be easily solved by asking for help, which clearly I did not. These mittens also have the zipper pouch on the back where you can stick a little hand warmer
