Burberry Brit vs Creed Aventus

Initial sniff test fine, but disappoints shortly after application. Perhaps I received a dud.

The fragrance itself smells so good and clean. I haven’t worn it yet, but anxious to see if smell will last. I’m not sure if the bottle is supposed to be completely full, but I noticed the plastic to seal was broken and looks as though product has leaked during shipment. :(

It is strong but not headache-inducing. To give you an idea of the fragrance, here are some of its ingredients: Linalool (spicy/floral) Limonene (citrusy) Cinnamal (cinnamon) Coumarin (sweet/grassy) Citronellol (floral/green) Geraniol (rosey) LONGEVITY: Lasts a good few hours, but mellow down to a more warm, vanilla-like subtle fragrance. AGE: I wouldn't restrict this to any particular age group. It's not powdery, but it's not overwhelmingly sweet

Aventus is the original, which I would also recommend over this version. “Aventus Cologne” was released in 2019 as a fresher version of the original Creed Aventus. The original Aventus was released in 2010. I recommend anyone interested go smell them both at Nordstrom, they’re both very similar but I prefer the original
