Bubba Blade 13" Tapered Flex Fillet Fixed Blade Knife vs Morakniv Fishing Comfort Scaler Fixed Blade Knife

my first impression with this knife was how dull . Few days later I decided to try this knife again on some 18 inch walleye just seem to need a lot more muscle to filet a walleye knife definitely not right . I had to switch back to electric knife such a shame that Bubba filet knife is so dull or cheap made !!! If an can not deliver delivered then it is no good.

Crazy sharp. This is a stout and stiff utility blade, so you can’t expect it to be great at filleting or removing skin, but for everything up to that point, from trimming your line, cutting the bait, bleeding, gutting, scaling, and making the first cuts on the fish, this thing just kills. I plan to get the large one too, after seeing how nice this small one is, for the occasional hefty Halibut or Sheepshead, but this small one would still be my main fishing knife.

The sheath is already wearing away a streak of the Teflon coating right down the middle of the blade.

Awesome sheath, comes with a pattern that allows the knife to dry or water to drain easily. I also use it while fishing to cut up bait.

Not really sure whats the hyper about Bubba, its definitely sharp, but not quite the 50$ tag worth. Built is really good though, so is the grip.

The blade is thicker and more narrow and stiff than i was expecting. Not a fillet knife but as with all Mora knives is well made and worth the price.

The handle to this knife feels like it was made with me in mind! Very ergonomic for me. It is sharp out of the box and i am able to fillet my fish easily. Love the size and weight of this knife. The only con for me is the sheath

Have tried several deboning knives, by far the most comfortable grip, easy to touch up sharpness. Not really a skinning or gut blade, but breaks deer down easily and debones meat effortlessly. Receivers of gift say the same.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he is a “die hard” fisherman. After buying several filet knives that would rust or chip and even break in half, i had to find a better option. This knife is the BEST!!!!! He loves and treats it like a prized possession. Great quality, super sharp, sturdy and has a no slip grip

They have great grips and thick blades. But they should not advertise a knife for fishing that will start to show signs of rust almost immediately. In addition, don't be fooled by the shape. The blade is way to thick for filleting
