Brother P-touch PT70BM vs DYMO LabelManager 160

My overall thought is I like this little label maker. It fits me needs perfectly since I don't make labels that often, but I dislike the drain o battery power making just one label can do. Even if the batteries are duracell of energizer, it does not make a difference on how long they last. I can buy another label maker for the cost of batteries

I kept thinking about that. I had read in a user-review that somebody got an electronics repairman to look at his PT-70 and apparently the service-man cleaned up the ends of the batteries and the internal machine contacts with the eraser that's on the end of a wooden pencil. I kept thinking about that. When I install batteries, if I can get to the sides of them, I'll rotate them and squeeze them in and rotate them some more to try to get the best contact possible

You will spend 5 times what this labelmaker cost in batteries. I would not recommend nor buy this product again.

This LabelManager operates on batteries (not included). To operate on AC current, and adapter is necessary, which costs up to four times what I paid for the LabelManager. So, I wouldn't buy this item--pay a bit more and have the adapter included. Adding it later is too expensive

It’s done what I needed. It also to have some features that look fun. I’m on my way to being organized.

It just has so many features. It's even easier to do things like print multiple copies of the same label. However, for people that don't want to really use labelmakers, the Dymo is more dummy proof and wastes less labels when printing individual labels. When I gave the Brother to my staff, I told them to print all their labels before cutting it
