After complaining to three levels of tech support at Brother and pulling the corporate buyer card – they agreed to replace my drum kit for free. TONER CARTRIDGES DON’T LAST PRINTER WON’T PRINT UNTIL YOU REPLACE THEM According to the page counter, this printer has printed about 4700 documents in five months. We manually kept track of the before/after number in between replacing cartridges. We get about 500 black/white printouts from a high yield cartridge before it forces you to replace the toner cartridge

Most of my printing is strictly black and white but the color toners deplete at the same rate if not faster than the black even if I use the black and white print setting. The page life of cartridges is also a joke especially given the price of cartridges. I never get more than 2,000 pages from any cartridge without some degradation of print quality. I would not recommend this printer

Too many complaints of odd failures, random issues and wasted ink. We came across this and noticed the cheaper print cost and the generally higher level of customer satisfaction. I had experience with BROTHER branded printers at work, and we had a few BROTHER label printers, so we decided to splurge and get this more expensive option. I work from home as does my wife, and 4 of my kids are doing distance learning from home

When I finally received shipment, I was disappointed to receive a single black toner cartridge for over $100, when Amazon.com provided all four colors of Toner Kingdom's product for under $80. When i called the number on the packing slip to initiate a return, the voice menu told me to choose Option 2 for existing orders, which sent me to a recorded message to go to the web. I had to call back and select Option 1 for new orders to talk to a person, who gave me the required RMA and informed me that I had to ship the toner cartridge at my own cost

The toner cartridge are much cleaner solution. And I suspect we'll get many more prints out of a cartridge. The quality of the plastics and controls is noticeably better than the previous HP models we've had.

I reinstall this stupid thing again. The toner cartridge ran out. Lucky for me I have a spare! I install the new cartridge. The printer

Smaller models, like the MFC-L3770CDW, are even worse (managing just 6 ppm duplex). This is a consequence of their very long duplex paper paths due to the [lack of secondary transfer

Print Quality - only have it one day, but the print quality is amazing, out of the box I put a magazine in the scanner, hit copy and I couldn't distinguish the copy from the color magazine cover. Easiest printer setup I've ever seen - All cartridges are pre-installed, kudos to Canon. just take the tape off and config your network Network setup dead simple in seconds - I used the WPS Router Pin code method, if your router doesn't do this, get a new router. You end up entering a pin number into the printer that your router issues and the setup is completed, no passwords, etc

That's an inch here and there larger and a few pounds heavier than the Canon model, but slightly smaller and lighter than another somewhat costlier and beefier Canon AIO, the Color imageClass MF731Cdw. HP's entry-level Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw is, on the other hand, several inches smaller in all directions and weighs about 10 pounds less than the MFC-L3770CDW.

It is basically a 16" cube. It is far larger than my microwave or my large toaster oven that can cook a 6-pound chicken. For some reason I thought it would be a little smaller. But that's not the printer's fault

We connect to it from our work and personal laptops, iPhones and iPads without a problem. Scanning works very easily and I can easily send out via email. We have ours setup to work via WiFi, which we love - no wires! One minor issue is that it does seem to move into pause mode on rare occasions and I need to hit the wakeup button, but generally it wakes itself just fine for any PC so I think that may be my home WiFi acting up.

This printer does not have AppleTalk, so it you want to go wireless, it’s a big deal. To be fair, customer service was very helpful, but it took a full hour to talk me through a TCP/IP installation. Even then, it defaults to back-to-back printing, and I can’t tell you how many reems of paper I’ve wasted. I still have problems at times with this printer

There was an issue with print jobs not starting up because the printer was in idle mode, and something was not seeming to connect. We learned that by adding the printer into our computer system through the printers IP address solved that problem. Highly recommended purchase, one of our office favorites this year !.

I am a trained engineer. Having used more than two dozen similar printers in the past, I have extra headaches with this printer. I moved the printer from one room to another; then, I had to troubleshoot the wireless network even though the WIFI signal did not change much. I spent more than 30 minutes to figure out why it went offline and found out the power off has changed the IP address to gibberish
