Brooklinen Luxe Core 480 vs Pinzon Signature Cotton Heavyweight Velvet

The biggest pro is they really sleep cooler than any other brand of sheets I have tried.

PROS: These are equal in weight and comfort to the $250+ designer flannel sheets I bought for years. Other than some decorative detail work on the top sheet that are on my expensive sheets,I cannot tell a difference between those sheets and these Pinzon ones. After several washings, these are just getting softer and more comfortable! They are indeed made in Portugal according to the tag and the packaging, and I have no issues with the sewing or quality of the sheets themselves. I have not experienced any pilling AT ALL, something many flannel sheet brands have issues with

The sheets are not as soft as I expected and not worth the money. While the fitted sheet was the right size there us no way tge flat sheet is fit for a queen. Way too small

It a very soft, well made flannel pillow case. However, I was really looking more for a sham to put on my bed that would match with my Vellux blanket (I haven't found Vellux blankets). They weren't what I was looking for and therefore, the 4 stars, however, if you're looking for a nice flannel pillowcase, these are very nice and would recommend.

These are good sheets that are soft, slightly silky and wash well. However, I don’t see a huge difference between these and another set we have from Bed Bath Beyond. My only complaint is the price. Overall they are good sheets

This time I measured the pillowcases when I opened the package and they were spot on at 20'x30'. It's only when they were washed that they shrunk a good 2" all around and became unusable for queen sized pillows. It's probably why the sheets seem a bit skimpy in width/length sometimes too. They need to preshrink the fabric is all, I don't know why this hasn't been addressed in over 10 years but Amazon really should insist upon it if they keep charging $75 per set

When I first began buying Brooklinen in 2017, the fitted sheets fitted my 12" mattress quite well - taut, but not so tight that I couldn't put them on and take them off fairly easily. Now? Well, the set I just received this past week (same pattern, windowpane) is so loose I have to use those elastic straps to keep the fitted sheet on! This is ridiculous, especially for the price paid. Either they've changed manufacturers or they just don't care any more. I will not be buying again, nor recommending to anyone else (as I have done in the past)

So I took off one star for the fitted sheet. Since there are many variables in manufacturing nowadays, it's possible that I received a mis-cut sheet but it's too late to exchange. So I will recommend the sheet set with one caveat: Make sure the fitted sheet fits properly and return the sheets if it doesn't.
