Ah, Brooklinen, what a fantasy you've created through advertisements. My disappointment doesn't come from overall quality, but cost vs benefit. The first issue is these sheets barely fit my bed - just barely. If you have a mattress pad you might be challenged

These are a disappointment

The sheets are not as soft as I expected and not worth the money. While the fitted sheet was the right size there us no way tge flat sheet is fit for a queen. Way too small

When I first began buying Brooklinen in 2017, the fitted sheets fitted my 12" mattress quite well - taut, but not so tight that I couldn't put them on and take them off fairly easily. Now? Well, the set I just received this past week (same pattern, windowpane) is so loose I have to use those elastic straps to keep the fitted sheet on! This is ridiculous, especially for the price paid. Their 170 GSM weight is the low end of "heavyweight," adding warmth and durability without being excessively warm. They're soft without being clingy, making for a more pleasant sleeping experience for those of us who toss and turn. The 14" deep fitted sheet fits our thinner mattress just fine, though we're dubious it would be such a good fit on a thicker mattress. Between the plethora of prints available in the Belle collection and the many other flannel collections with more unique prints, we're sure just about everyone can find something to love here. And they're pretty reasonably priced for this lineup, too.
However, they're not the most impressively constructed set we tested. They're not bad, just about average for this group. Depending on how you sleep, "average" may be just fine for your bed. They also showed more pilling by our feet than many others, which doesn't bode well. We found several conflicting sources of information on their construction, with some saying they're OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified, while other sources didn't make that claim. The set we tested didn't have the official OEKO-TEX tag, so we're guessing these particular ones aren't certified. Still, they're a pretty solid and likable set of sheets, with a ton of fun and whimsical prints and patterns.

This sheet set looks nice, and feels nice, but isn't the best quality. When they arrived I washed them before putting them on my bed. What did I discover? Two corners of the fitted bottom sheet had holes in the seams.  The serged seams weren't properly finished off on end furthest from the elastic so the threads came loose

  This means I had to sew up ALL 4 corners of the sheet...on a product that hadn't even been used yet - the 2 corners with gaping holes and the 2 corners that hadn't yet come apart but soon would

I bought these sheets to match a new quilt. The color and pattern are perfect. However, the material is not soft. I have washed them a couple times, even used extra fabric softener but still not great
