 On my last trip to Hawaii, I tripped and fell on lava rock and my stainless steel Brita

I have two, used one a couple of times but I plan to use the larger 3l one for a communal camp and don't wanna get anybody sick! I can't find any horrible experiences online but just want a little more confidence lol

Here we are about a year later, I take it out of storage for a weekend trip, and the thing barely filters. I can squeeze it and try to create suction, but I think iodine tablets can create safe water faster than the filter rate now. Not sure what happened while it was resting jn storage. A good shake or letting walk run through it , according to the instructions, did nothing

good for short term, but slowed and leaked later
