I'm in a similar boat- started off around a 36DD and have since \~blossomed\~ into something like a 36J, but haven't measured recently because oh god if they get ANY BIGGER this is going to get Very Expensive.

Alright. I’m normally a small person. 5’2” and around 125lbs. I have always had a larger chest... nothing absolutely crazy but I’m a 32DD pre-pregnancy. Big enough. I’ve always wished they were a tad smaller, just for clothes shopping purposes. 

The second pregnancy hit, they grew. I’m only 15 weeks right now and I swear to god they’ve grown 3-4 cup sizes. I had an actual mental meltdown this morning because I feel like none of my clothes (or maternity clothes that I recently bought) fit nicely. I feel so disproportionate. Every time my bump grows, I swear my boobs grow twice as much. I have no idea what kind of bra to buy to make this situation better. I’m honestly losing it. Not to mention they’re extra heavy... that does not help. 

I realize this sounds like a silly thing to be upset about... but honestly I DO NOT WANT THIS. I work in a male dominant work place, and I’m starting to be very self conscious because I just know it’s going to be “the talk of the shop”, which stresses me out. 

So, first of all.... how much more are they going to grow??? And second... if anyone has any recommendations for a very good supportive bra for a large cup size and small band size please send them my way. Doesn’t have to be maternity/nursing specific. Just give me your best recommendations.

Boob rant...

I was unable to wear this bra because the band wasn't as forgiving as I needed it to be with my expanding rib cage. I was a 36G pre-pregnancy and currently somewhere around a 38H. Ordered the 1x, but as small as it was, I could tell one size larger still wouldn't cut it.

Not right for me.

 It is especially frustrating when your newborn is agitated because they are so hungry. I am glad I only bought one bra. I would not recommend them.

I recently bought the Elomi Molly underwire nursing bra in a UK 40J and it's the best-fitting bra I've ever had. It's a bit too loose on the biggest hook but I'm 3 months pregnant so that's probably good. The gore actually tacks in the middle like it's supposed to! I get a bit of gapping around the armpits but it's infinitely better than anything else I've tried.

 Make sure you scoop & swoop as you put the bra on, so that all your breast tissue is inside the wire. You might be pretty happy with the Molly for the most part.

I would recommend starting with the Elomi Molly for a supportive everyday style, and I'd start with the calculator's recommendation. Elomi does run about one cup size large in most of their styles, so for most other brands you'll want to remember to compensate for that. Make sure you scoop & swoop as you put the bra on, so that all your breast tissue is inside the wire. You might be pretty happy with the Molly for the most part

[measurement check] They are huge! I was roughly a 36G and now I am 8 weeks postpartum with significant growth. Size calculator says 36HH which doesn’t even seem big enough just hearing that. My 36G is significantly small!

TL;DR- calculator is down and I’m desperate for a comfortable &amp; supportive bra for my ever expanding boobs (pre-preg was 34H, now guessing I’m at least 2-3 cup sizes bigger)

Hi all, I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and my boobs have just gone out of control. I was a 34H most recently, but those bras now have me in tears by the end of the day with massive underwire indentations. When I had my daughter my boobs got very large as well and I ended up with recurrent mastitis, likely from wearing bras that did not fit… but I could not find any (even stretchy ones) that didn’t leave at least some indentation. I’m really hoping to avoid mastitis this time around and also need to get through the next 6 months of going to work in an office/kitchen every day (I work in school nutrition). I’ve been trying to get the bra size calculator to load all day, but for some reason it won’t. 😩 

Here are my measurements:

Tight 31.75in = 80.65cm
Comfortable 33 = 83.82
Loose 33.5 = 85.09

Standing 42 = 106.68
Leaning 48 = 121.92
Laying 44.5 = 113.03

Based on seeing others measurements (and also my lived experience with my difficult to fit boobs) I think I have extremely projected breasts. I have literally never been able to find a bra where the gore sits on my chest, despite the best efforts of several professionals (including at Rigby &amp; Peller). Most bras I try will fit perfectly almost everywhere, but cut in on the cup and the gore doesn’t sit. When I have tried going up in cup size the underwire just ends up like at the back of my armpit and I still have this issue. 

The only bra I’ve been able to regularly wear is the Wacoal Basic beauty full figure seamless underwire. 

I am desperate for any advice/input/recommendations that will help me stop crying over my boobs (I’ve spent way too much time during pregnancy/postpartum doing that!!)
