The 16-inch touchscreen uses Bluetooth to pair with accessories and WiFi to connect to the JRNY app. JRNY offers a wide range of studio classes, Explore the World scenic rides, and virtual coach programs to choose from, plus it offers the unique ability to stream entertainment from popular services like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max &#40;subscriptions required&#41; to watch while you ride. It can't quite match the sheer number of classes on apps like Peloton or iFit, but JRNY provides plenty of variety, loads of off-the-bike workouts, and it costs less than the competition. The VeloCore also works with Peloton and Zwift through your own device, adding even more workout options. 
We found the 16-inch touchscreen on the VeloCore to be adequate, but it is a fair amount smaller than the screens on other models we tested &#40;the Velocore can also be purchased with a 22-inch screen for a significant bump in price&#41;. The screen also has limited mobility, with a small range of tilt, but no ability to rotate for viewing off the bike. While the JRNY app does offer plenty to satisfy most users, we think those interested purely in live and on-demand studio classes would be better off looking elsewhere. Due to the nature of the bike's design and unique lean feature, it has a slightly larger footprint than other bikes we tested, though this should only matter if you're super tight on space. I've been testing the VeloCore over the past five weeks. I work out on it for about 30 minutes per session, five times a week, and always end my workouts very sweaty, with a feeling of accomplishment.&nbsp;

 So i definitely think this passes a test with how realistic it feels and how you want to feel and, as far as range goes, i think they did great. You can go from almost no resistance to a flat road sensation, all the way up to very tough resistances, while making micro adjustments all the way through. So if you want to push yourself just a little bit harder, you can do that if you want to take just a little bit back so that way, you're not making a big swing back, you just be able to stay working out hard without suddenly it becomes Easy you can do that by making that micro adjustment back so huge range, all sorts of micro adjustments, you're going to be able to dial in exactly what you want and last is top end resistance, and i think again they did very good here. Eventually, i'm sure i'll pull the peloton bike plus or the nordictrack s22i out and really get them next to each other

 It'S laid out! Well, it's easy to get to the content that you want. There'S different layouts for just for you or recommendations, programs explore the world videos favorites and learn where you can learn about the bike and the lean and how to ride this properly and different content like that. For when you're new, when you move between screens, the response is snappy, meaning when you click on something it happens right away. Making you feel like this is well built and on good hardware and the various pieces of core functionality on this machine are built very well

 But part two is going to cover things like did they actually fix it and how did that? Go how i was working with support and because this bike has so much going on, i'm sure i'll be covering things i missed or just didn't cover in this video here. But let's jump in and as always, let's start with resistance and i measure in three categories: how realistic is the ride? How much range do you have and where does the top end resistance fall and when it comes to how realistic the ride is, i think it feels great and you get exactly what you want out of this you're able to dial in different sensations, whether it's a Flat road, mild resistance, all the way up to tough resistance, and they all feel good in those zones. So i definitely think this passes a test with how realistic it feels and how you want to feel and, as far as range goes, i think they did great. You can go from almost no resistance to a flat road sensation, all the way up to very tough resistances, while making micro adjustments all the way through

Everything is fine holds a set point of 225 watts erg No problems at all power numbers are good I change into the big ring a few down in the back a few hardest to the flywheel speed just at around 30 kilometers An hour and everything is good there not as stable if I was to really nitpick But still absolutely fine for training accuracy is good and then on the front big ring 11 gear on the back Spin things up and a lot of trainers never pass this part of the test and it's not a real big one You should not be training erg mode in the 5311 trainers just do not have that kind of working zone So the flywheel speed there was around 45 kilometers an hour It was unable to hold 225 watts erg which is a relatively low power for that kind of flywheel speed However, the power numbers were still pretty good So not a fail there on this one at the end there because the power numbers were good It's just simply identifying the working zone for the flywheel speed You'll likely always come across tips for erg mode Which say keep it in the small ring in the front and mid-range cassette at the back What that does is it keeps most trainers within the correct working speed zone for the flywheel to be able to apply the correct Resistance for the erg set point gets a little technical the takeaway is erg mode small ring. You'll be good So in summary there after many rides on this many llama lab tests and a lot of my own personal training sessions And then diving into the numbers

Elite Direto XR Trainer (Updated) Review

 The unit's really weighty, it seems firmly on the ground and even when hoofing out the saddle, it remains solid. Here is the rub. In Bluetooth mode on the Alpe d'Huez, on the corners, the slope came off far too much, so your resistance just totally fell away and it would leave you spinning out. Yeah, you could argue you need to change gear, but honestly, you need to change gear a hell of a lot to get resistance back on

 Seems easier to get the power on and hold it there. The real flywheel is probably a great help in this respect. The unit's really weighty, it seems firmly on the ground and even when hoofing out the saddle, it remains solid. Here is the rub

 But price-wise, this is a top-end trainer and it retails at some places in the UK, according to Google Shopping, at 765 pounds UK, which is terrific, considering that some of its competitors are 1,000 pounds. So a great turbo trainer, really good. Big thumbs up from us. Thanks for watching
