 Do you have three extra rinses on this can on that as well, which adds that time on so for some reason my phone decides to stop filming. I mean it's way through that, but anyway so went on to shirts. So let's take a look at the programs and the display. If we turn it on to the energy-saving cotton wash here which is one of two washes which I use the most you can see there are an awful lot of options lit up on the display so let's talk you through those. Here you have got a time delay start so you can set this so that you delay the start of your program anything up to 24 hours in advance

 Now I would call this a fairly average load it's got a mixture of cottons different types of fabrics and I've just chucked my son's winter coat in there as well. I used our luggage scales to weigh it and as it happens it actually turns out to be exactly 3.5 kilograms which is the maximum load for the Express 20 wash so I'm going to chuck that in the machine now. Now because this washing machine is highly energy efficient there are a couple of features on it which reflect that one of them is that after 10 minutes of a program running as you'll see the display turns off and the only bit that's lit up is the start stop function

I would recommend the W1 and T1 for anyone looking for laundry machines at that price point. I get that price is a barrier for some people, but Miele adds value for the price. They're not just more expensive machines, they're better machines.  Miele says they are designed to last 20 years

 If you think the sound is too annoying, getting the springs replaced with new springs should solve the problem, as they now, from what i have heard, put plastic on the springs so it shouldn't make this sound. Miele has definitely gone down in quality with their W1 models, their older machines were more robust and much better built. Nowadays i would recommend Siemens/Bosch over any Miele washing machine.

Everything else works perfectly, but this sounds like bed springs - and just does it once or twice every now and then when a load isn’t balanced or is heavy (but not overloaded). It will rarely also do the spring noise when the spin is slowing down and coming to an end. Normal or not? It doesn’t sound very refined which is what Miele is meant to be, right?
