 And then as far as ingredients that I want to highlight within this formulation, honestly, there aren't really any that really stand out to me or are worth calling out individually. This does have vitamin A in it. Vitamin E is a great antioxidant for the skin, but it's the third to last ingredient so it probably doesn't have that much vitamin E within this formulation to make it really no worthy if you know what I mean. So not really anything in here that I want to call out, but that's not a bad thing that doesn't mean that the ingredients are bad, it's just that there's nothing spectacular

 The good news is that not only is this fragrance free and essential oil free, but there are no known irritants or skin sensitizers within this specific formulation. So even though we aren't getting anything incredible, we're also not having any issues as far as those sensitizing ingredients goes that we can often find and other sunscreen. So of course that doesn't mean that this won't irritate your skin when I call that out specifically.3 percent zinc oxide

 Nothing that's known to help to improve your overall complexion, reduce the appearance of pores, help to control oil is nothing like that, so pretty strict back in that sense, which again, could be a good thing if you have sensitive, but I feel like that kind of defeats the purpose when there are chemical filters added to it. The formulation of this one is really nice. It still does kind of give me traditional sunscreen vibes if you will, but it's definitely the lightest weight of these three. so lighter weight than blue lizard, lighter weight than copper tone, and doesn't have that sticky feel that the Coppertone sunscreen has

 Extremely noteworthy. From an ingredient label standpoint, this does have caprylic, triglycerides and glycerin in it, which are two really nice hydrating ingredients for the skin. But other than that, there's nothing to really call out. No antioxidants within this formulation

The majority of sunscreens currently on the market are full of questionable ingredients and known carcinogens. For this particular product, I have it in good authority that you cannot get it from certified sources via Amazon, i.e. you can't verify it's origins (Charlotte Palermino has some good videos about sourcing issues if you're on TikTok). However, I also know that Stylevana IS a creditable source for this product (they can provide proof they get their product direct from the manufacturer) so I'd recommended that site if it delivers to your area

One good way to tell is to check who the vendor is - this is listed on the Amazon page. If it's not coming directly from the parent company or one of its subsidiaries, there's basically no way to verify it's authenticity or its age (which is important for a all skin care but particularly for something like sunscreen.)

 Titanium apparently isn’t good enough to block UV-A (cancer causing and photo-aging) light on its own, so you must add zinc to it. I calculated the SPF based on the stated zinc and titanium percentages on the label and these calculations were usually different from the quoted SPFs (they might be adding more SPFs from other ingredients, but I can’t say for sure). Nine of the 13 MSSs had calculated SPFs 30+. Only 4 of the 13 had a calculated SPF greater than or equal to the label SPF

 2. Quick sunscreen tutorial. Most dermatologists say we should try to get an SPF of 30+. Each 1% of zinc counts for 1

 Only 3 of the 13 MSSs I tested had the following combination of characteristics: calculated SPF 30+, smell score 3+, and blend score 4+. These top three were: Neutrogena Sheer Zinc, Aveeno Positively Mineral, and Blue Lizard. When you factor in cost, it’s a no-brainer—Neutrogena and Aveeno were only half the cost of Blue Lizard. Therefore, my two winners (tied for first place) are Neutrogena Sheer Zinc and Aveeno Positively Mineral

 It is a baby sunscreen though, and is slightly greasy. Minimal white cast, it's not noticeable. I don't wear this every day since it does feel heavier/greasier, but good to have on hand for my neck/arms, days my skin is particularly dry, or under makeup. Will repurchase
