 For the face, it says to use a half of a teaspoon for the face and neck. So here's a bottle. It does say that it turns blue in harmful UV light. Mine has a light blue tint to it right now

 it says did you know that blue lizard is named after a chameleon that changes color to protect itself and then it says just like the lizard, your bottle will change color and harmful UV rays reminding you to protect yourself by applying sunscreen. It's genius I Also did forget to mention that this is titanium. dioxide. at five percent in zinc oxide, ten percent

 So I will come back in a few minutes and I'll let you know kind of how long it took to st.  And then as far as ingredients that I want to highlight within this formulation, honestly, there aren't really any that really stand out to me or are worth calling out individually. This does have vitamin A in it. Vitamin E is a great antioxidant for the skin, but it's the third to last ingredient so it probably doesn't have that much vitamin E within this formulation to make it really no worthy if you know what I mean. So not really anything in here that I want to call out, but that's not a bad thing that doesn't mean that the ingredients are bad, it's just that there's nothing spectacular

 The good news is that not only is this fragrance free and essential oil free, but there are no known irritants or skin sensitizers within this specific formulation. So even though we aren't getting anything incredible, we're also not having any issues as far as those sensitizing ingredients goes that we can often find and other sunscreen. So of course that doesn't mean that this won't irritate your skin when I call that out specifically.3 percent zinc oxide

 Nothing that's known to help to improve your overall complexion, reduce the appearance of pores, help to control oil is nothing like that, so pretty strict back in that sense, which again, could be a good thing if you have sensitive, but I feel like that kind of defeats the purpose when there are chemical filters added to it. The formulation of this one is really nice. It still does kind of give me traditional sunscreen vibes if you will, but it's definitely the lightest weight of these three. so lighter weight than blue lizard, lighter weight than copper tone, and doesn't have that sticky feel that the Coppertone sunscreen has

 Extremely noteworthy. From an ingredient label standpoint, this does have caprylic, triglycerides and glycerin in it, which are two really nice hydrating ingredients for the skin. But other than that, there's nothing to really call out. No antioxidants within this formulation

I found the Blue Lizard Sunscreen Sensitive SPF 50+ to rub in really well and it dries clear. My son has sensitive skin and he had no reaction whatsoever.  It is a bit dewy finish which I like because I am so dry. I wish it was a Prime products, sometimes it's hard to find.

It's got really great spreadability, it actually feels kind of hydrating as you're working this into your skin, and it absorbs and dries down really quickly into a very light weight, very breathable layer on the skin. And that actually makes it a pretty good makeup base actually because it does absorb and dry down very quickly. which means you don't have to wait around

 So I really like the dry time of this and I think that this functions nicely as a makeup base because the effect of this is that it's going to give you a really pretty glass skin, dewy skin look. Now for some people, it's going to be glass skin. Another drawback: White cast. We all know that we spent some time on it, but it definitely makes the list

 And in fact, I don't know that they make any skincare besides their sunscreens. And because they are a cosmetics company, you know they have really marketed this sunscreen as not only your sun protection, but also as a skin perfecting makeup base. And that's really evident in the texture of this sunscreen because it's a very watery gel type of texture. Canmake Mermaid Gel or the Kose Super Water Proof Suncut Perfect UV Essence both seem to work very well for my dry skin, both with or without makeup. Without makeup they both have a slightly brightening glowy-shiny finish, and they both work sit well under my makeup. The Canmake has a little bit of a white cast on me, and I am very pale, so bear that in mind.

I’m in England. I’d love to find a high quality, high PA+++ sunscreen because we can no longer get Klairs Soft Airy UV essence. I checked Lab Muffin’s YT and none of her faves are available here either. I’m using LRP shaka but it’s a bit greasy. I’ve also tried Biore Aqua UV but it dries my skin so badly and breaks out - so pref something low on alcohol.
Am I hoping for the moon on a stick?!

Missing my Klairs Soft Airy here in UK. Alternative high UVA/B organic sunscreens available in Europe?

The Canmake Mermaid Gel maybe. Both of them show up as shiny on me so 🤷‍♀️ no white cast and it isn't drying.
