I run my dashcam on the highest resolution on both cameras, and the highest bitrate on both cameras, sectioned off into 1 minute clips, both front in rear. The dashcam sections these off into numbers, for example: "20200818_101037R". These break down into the following: 2020 - year, 08 - month. 18 - day, _ - separates the day with the exact time, 10- military hours, 10 - 10 mins, 37 - 37 seconds into the minute, R/F - Rear camera and Front camera respectively

It's pretty expensive, but I think it's mostly worth it. It would be nice if the SD card it came with was a bit bigger -- this would be a great way to make the price a little less painful. Still, if you have the money, it's a worthwhile investment for the peace of mind.

When installing take a black sharpie or some kind of marker and under the red plastic that you peel off to stick the cameras on the windshields you will see a white strip, color this black first, lest you have a white line you will clearly see through your window. Parking mode is a bit of a mystery to me, though. I've set it up to record in timelapse, but it just keeps on recording in regular mode. Maybe that's just me doing something wrong. Also, the image quality is pretty good on the front camera, but not $250 good
