Black Girl Sunscreen REVIEW and DEMO! Black Girl Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Black Girl Sunscreen for kids is great for damaged moisture barrier and dehydrated skin because it’s very nourishing and moisturizing. You can find it at target for $11

I’ll get to the point and say I’ve tried a total of 3 sunscreens after not using one since I realized my skin was dehydrated due to the use of harsh products (clean &amp; clear morning, night cleansers and St. Ives scrubs - only 😩😭 Freakin’ Bad, yes, I know):

1. Isntree HA Watery Sun Gel - felt great going on, but would eventually burn my eyes and leave my skin uncomfortable by the end of the day. Not to mention the dewiness was not something I liked. Though wasn’t sure if it was from that or the oiliness from the dehydration seeping through. 

2. Canmake Mermaid UV (Clear) - Just no. Didn’t work out for me after a week;eyes didn’t burn, which was the only plus.

3. CORSX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream - Recent one. Wanted it to work, but the application was terrible and left my face feeling uncomfortable. 

As of right now, I am not using a sunscreen (live close to my job and rarely go out, especially with Daylight Savings Time in full swing), but have one on the way (Nivea in the light purple bottle?) and looking into a few in case that one doesn’t work.

Open to suggestions, particularly the ones I can find in stores (ex: Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, Ulta, etc.).

* **La Roche Posay** Toleriane Ultra Eye Cream **-** not cruelty-free, will not be repurchasing also doesn't do anything for my skin

* **Fenty** Fat Water - has been great from minimizing the look of pores THIS does has fragrance

* Was using **Supergoop** Unseen Sunscreen SPF40 - great for mattifying, no white cast BUT I am currently trying the **Black Girl** Sunscreen SPF 30 - no white cast and very hydrating without a greasy feeling

**Skin type**: Combo, on drier side during the Winter and Resilient (not sensitive to the fragrant products in this routine)

[review] Holy moly! This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. I feel bad for not discovering this one all these days...

 I'm not sure how much I need to put on to get the full 30 SPF claim, but something is better than none, especially if it doesn't sting.  This product left a little white-ish cast (I wish I would've tried their mineral sunblock with color, maybe mineral would've been more helpful to my skin?), but the white cast wasn't THAT bad, especially if you're using foundation over it (I have medium skin with golden-olive-yellow in undertones).

I was hoping this would be the holy grail but....

 So that's like another $10. So this would go down to $16 if you had a 40% off coupon and the Care Pass. So that's how you do it and that's how you guys should do it if you want to try La Roche-Posay sunscreens because I know the price of entry to get one of these products is quite high. Even though you do get a lot of product, it's just that upfront money that you have to shell out in the beginning is a lot

 So even with a sunscreen like this one that costs somewhere around like, I don't know, off the top of my head, like $30, $36 for five ounces, you can really bring down the cost to let's say you knock it down by $10. So 36 minus 10 is going to be $26 and then you take another 40% off. So that's like another $10. So this would go down to $16 if you had a 40% off coupon and the Care Pass

 Four of them I have on hand, so I'm going to review them and also show you how they wear on the skin, again on half of my face like last time. And then the other two I am going to just talk about because I don't have those products on hand, but I have used them in the past before. La Roche-Posay actually has two lines, so to speak. One is this orange line, and you can tell whenever you see an orange square, and the other is a blue line, so the square here would be blue

I'd like to keep it moderately low budget (under 100 euros in total). I'm on the lookout for a good sunscreen, perfumes that are not flower scented and maybe some lipsticks. Vitamin C and haircare product recommendations (wavy hair) are also welcome. 

I'm a makeup noob and use lipsticks, eyeliner and mascara predominantly. My current skincare routine (combination- oily skin) is Adapalene and azelaic acid on alternate nights.

 Candle Tree Leaf is a soothing anti-inflammatory plant extract that supports skin repair. And La Roche-Posay's Thermal Spring Water is actually sourced from France. It's supposed to be a soothing water that contains minerals, trace elements, and natural antioxidants. And then Vitamin E is a skin conditioning antioxidant

 Hopefully now when you are trying to purchase a sunscreen from this brand, you will feel less overwhelmed and just know right away which one is going to be the best fit for you.
