Not at all waterproof. Warm, comfortable, NOT waterproof. Take incredibly long time to dry, even on a forced air, heated boot dryer. If you use these, you will need a pair of spare mitts to use while this pair dries

So far these gloves are awesome. My older gloves were just meh, so when I got these in and put them on I was impressed because they feel like a real premium product. The Gore-Tex leather gives it a durable feel on the outside, while the inside is nicely insulated with a soft synthetic that wicks moisture and there is a good amount of wiggle room to trap in warm air. I’ve gone boarding twice so far and they’ve kept me perfectly warm and dry

The outer leather provides wind protection, durability and is waterproof (like all leather products, leather treat the glove to maintain the functionality of the leather).

These look like high end mits you would find at the expensive resorts, and let’s face it, they aren’t cheap! But they are a super quality and very thick leather and nice stitching! They should hold up quite well for many ski seasons.

They were not too tight as to get cold and they were not too sloppy as to feel limited in mobility/ dexterity. On a cold day at the resort (15degrees F), my hands did get surprisingly cold for having mittens. But now i know the lower limit of the mitts and know not to wear them in cold weather. For fair weather, they are the perfect mitt though

I used the gloves, while snow blowing around my home.They matched my expectations, but I would expect nothing less from Burton products. The temperature was in the teens and my hands stayed very warm and dry.

One note- this is a snug fit and I have found that wearing even a modest sized watch hampers wrist dexterity unless you wear the watch outside/over your outer layer which Im guessing most are inclined to do anyway. The wrist length is fairly short and shell sleeves tend to pull off the wrist exposing them. I have found that wearing a base or mid layer with wrist overs solves this nicely. Even though this style of wrist constrains interior movement somewhat (and I sized these slightly snug), I am able to pull my fingers out of the internal finger slots to ball them up for warming if necessary

Get hands warm quick and keep warm. Even if snow and moisture gets in the glove, the material in the lining was really good at wicking it out.
