this weighs about 2 pounds but I really don’t see it as being ergonomic and comfortable to hold. It is rather bulky. I tried shredding chicken with it and it did not work as well as the other handmixer that I have which is over 30 years old. those beaters are starting to get a tiny bit rusty and that’s the only reason I was looking for a replacement It has power but not enough for doing the job of shredding the chicken

This one has an on/off toggle switch and then you have to press the up or down button to change speeds. I guess it is just too high-tech for me but I just prefer the old fashioned up and down slide for the speeds. The mixer looks nice but I just miss my old mixer. :-(

This economical blender is completely adequate for my needs, easy to use (I have no problem inserting or detaching beaters) and with all the power/speeds I need. The bowl rest doesn't work on smaller bowls, and I use mostly small bowls, so that was somewhat of a disappointment. And no, it's not as light as some others, but I use it for such short stints that this isn't much of an issue. In short, for those of we who aren't home chefs and get most of our meals from the microwave or take-out, this is a very good buy for the occasional, easy tasks

It whips eat whites to nice stiff peaks on moment and tackles sugar cookie dough with no issues. The power is smooth and easy to control from the slowest setting. The cost to replace the attachments was close to the cost of this unit. There is plenty of mixing power. Controls are logical and straight forward. We have given it a good workout without issue, I do not see the reason to buy a more expensive machine

It quit in the middle of me beating egg whites. I was happy with it while it lasted. I now am looking for another brand with two whisks

I will note here that this mixer is noticeably slower than our old mixer so that may be a contributing factor to the longer time required to beat egg whites but I’m uncertain as to why it’s still so efficient with whipped cream. I didn’t try the beaters for the egg whites so they may actually perform better than the whisk. I’ll have to experiment with that another day. My final complaint was also discovered while beating the egg whites
