this weighs about 2 pounds but I really don’t see it as being ergonomic and comfortable to hold. It is rather bulky. I tried shredding chicken with it and it did not work as well as the other handmixer that I have which is over 30 years old. those beaters are starting to get a tiny bit rusty and that’s the only reason I was looking for a replacement It has power but not enough for doing the job of shredding the chicken

I can't see using the upper ranges very often so the slowest speed could be much slower.

I don't use a hand held mixer often but when I do I like for it to get the job done quickly without too much hassle. This does a great job mixing. The only nuance I need to adjust to is the different sized attachment holes. In my pic, you can one is larger than the other

I wanted a no frills, solid mixer, and that’s what this is. Easy to use. I miss having a speed burst button, but I can certainly live without that. Nice hand feel

This economical blender is completely adequate for my needs, easy to use (I have no problem inserting or detaching beaters) and with all the power/speeds I need. The bowl rest doesn't work on smaller bowls, and I use mostly small bowls, so that was somewhat of a disappointment. And no, it's not as light as some others, but I use it for such short stints that this isn't much of an issue. In short, for those of we who aren't home chefs and get most of our meals from the microwave or take-out, this is a very good buy for the occasional, easy tasks

Gave this to college bound granddaughter. She bakes a fair amount and cooks a lot. Compact size, light weight, self contained were all she needed

As an autistic with stress issues I often find loud noises raise my blood pressure and get me anxious. Vacuums and such, ugh, awful. But this isn't that bad. Its sound is not very high pitched, which I believe is what I find stressful in a loud noise

The KA being more expensive, though I like it being quieter, I tend to go to the cuisnart for less hassle, should my batter be heavier. They say the Ka has a powerful dc motor, again I don’t know about lonegevity if this means it would last longer but those who know motors can tell more than I can. I hope this review might help someone that’s trying to decide.

The cost to replace the attachments was close to the cost of this unit. There is plenty of mixing power. Controls are logical and straight forward. We have given it a good workout without issue, I do not see the reason to buy a more expensive machine

The mixer is a nice size, and easy to operate. I have used it multiple times and like how handles but am unsure of the durability of the beaters and the storage case is difficult to get on and off. I feel it will break easily with abundant use. It looks efficient and functional but I have a hard time getting it on and off
