If you want to spend as little as possible on a handheld vacuum for cleaning up pet hair, you could take a look at the BISSELL AeroSlim. It has a shorter battery life and inferior deep-cleaning performance compared to the Wyze Handheld Vacuum, but it's a good alternative if you're looking for something slightly more affordable. It does a fantastic job of dealing with pet hair on rugs as well as bare surfaces like hardwood floors or shelves and tables. While its range of attachments is more limited than that of the Wyze, it does come with a crevice tool/extension wand to help you clean tight spots, not to mention a slip-on soft-bristle tool for cleaning delicate surfaces.

I needed to replace my old dust buster and wanted something smaller. This thing is great! It's slim, doesn't look like a vacuum and sits in my kitchen well. It works for the crumbs etc, no big jobs.

I expected a lot more after reading the reviews and I am sadly disappointed. I drive a Kia Carnival and I can’t make it through the front and middle without it dying. The suction is not that great. This is one of those you get what you pay for type things

 It was all-too-soon that I realized that the suction power on this little device, even on a full charge, is far below whatever expectations that I had coing into this purchase based on it's aesthetic and the brand it carries (I've also got a Bissel CleanSlate that I love).  I chose this based on the reviews and its size. It works great for its intended and described purpose. (Some of these reviewers sound like they purchased a compact car and are surprised and disappointed it’s not adequate to pull a 40 foot camper). On a full charge, it ran for 16 minutes with stopping for a minute to empty the bin a couple times, so the advertised 12 minute run time is pretty accurate

 You need a good grasp around the vacuum to remove the top to empty the debris and clean out the filter. Every single time I remove the debris cup I turn the vacuum on and have to rearrange my grip.  You also need a good grip around the vacuum to try to put the brush tool attachment on. Once again, I'm constantly turning it on when I do that

 It is a little noisy but what vac isn't. It is quieter than the old upright Hoover I use to use. The button on the front IS in the wrong spot - design flaw, and I turn it on while trying to put it away. Not a deal breaker - Bissell, move the button

Waited to write this - love it.

I bought this to keep by my desk and vacuum tuffs of fur and dirt. The exhaust fan is close to the front end of the tool and on the bottom side, so it blows the fur and dust everywhere if you try to use it without the attachment tool. The normal end for vacuuming can not be turned in the other direction due to locking grooves that don't line up with turned, but the attachment can be. If careful, it works great

  The motor is surprisingly powerful relative to the vac's size and more than up to the task of what this seems to be designed for. It does a decent job of picking up debris from car interiors but a more powerful vac will be required to thoroughly remove ground in debris. Note that this is not a wet vac.  I read an Amazon review that said this was loud

  Photoshop alert: The advertised picture of this pulling in cereal from about 3 inches off of a counter top was almost certainly created in Shark’s art department. It’s more than up to the task of vacuuming the cereal but you’ll have to be much closer. I bought this with great expectation but was disappointed. The suction is half of its predecessor. The garbage space is also much smaller that the previous Shark. Overall I would not buy this product

Slim and light

I find it convenient for vacuum-dusting  all kinds of things, including furniture, various air vents, the vents under my fridge and freezer, etc.  I love how light weight and maneuverable it is, and that I don't have to drag my big vacuum cleaner around to dust these things, anymore.  It's nice to be able to dust by capturing the dust, instead of spreading it around, as happens with manual dusting, even Swiffering. 

A very handy tool -- some design suggestions

We have been using our Shark Wandvac a lot in our kitchen. Sucks up crumbs, coffee-grounds, and dirt like a champ. Easy to empty the dirt-cup into the waste-basket with the touch of a button. I like this unit a lot

LOVE THIS LIGHT-WEIGHT POWERFUL HAND-HELD VAC

I like the sleek design, which makes it easy to use for windowsills. It picks up dust and hair very well and compared to lots of other hand held vacuums had a pretty good suction. I just haven't found a lightweight hand held vacuum that gives super strong suction, including this one. I read lots of reviews and made quite a study of it

 To get super strong suction I think one would have to get a heavier machine. This one had very good reviews for the suction capacity, and Shark in general is a good brand (I have an upright Shark vacuum and love it!). It is very easy to clean and seems to be well made. It has a very small capacity for dirt, but most hand held vacuums seem to need cleaning after every use, so that's not too much of an issue

Lightweight and easy to use

 I also have to balance that with how much it will be used. I was willing to pay the $250 for the top of the line in this category (although I didn't want to pay that much), if it met certain criteria. Some of these criteria are not shared by everyone.  I live in a smallish condo- I don't have tons of space for everything I could want and certainly not out on the counters

 Add to that, it just didn't work very well- it was awkward to hold, heavy and didn't have much suction- and on top of all that, didn't last very long. I had it about a year and then chucked it in the trash.  Well I needed a new one, so I started to do my research. I watched all the youtube comparisons, read all the reviews, looked at what was online and in-stores

  I decided on this Shark, and I'm quite pleased with it. It is stylish- modern, sleek, light. It's not an eye sore sitting on my counter and doesn't take up much space. Because of all that, it's always charged and ready for little clean ups

 It's actually fun to use, like a Harry Potter magic wand- I look around the house hoping to find some small crumbs or something so I can zap it. It's long enough that I can suction up a cobweb dangling down from the ceiling on occasion.  I'm very pleased with my purchase- Shark has a winner, here.
