The headphone is pretty good but not as good as expected. For example it is better than the Mh752 but not mileeess better although it is much pricier. I don't have anything else to say about it apart that it is a good headphone but just that it isn't that confortable and that it will probably need an amp (or use the FOX as an amp). I would go for HD560S or TYGR 300 R. Both are excellent for positional audio in gaming. Read some reviews and choose the one that suits your music listening tastes.

So I would stick to fairly easy to drive headphones so that you don't necessarily have to buy a headphone amp. HD560S and TYGR 300 R are both fairly easy to drive and are excellent for positional audio in gaming.

Budget: $200(American Dollars)

Source/AMP: Directly to desktop. Can consider buying an AMP if its completely necessary for the best audio.

How the gear will be used: I will mostly game with them and listen to music. I already have an external mic(SM58 with Scarlett Solo) so no need for a mic with the headphones. 

Preferred tonal balance: I would like a balanced headphone.

What aspect of your current listening experience would you like to improve: I would like to hear more in my games(more footsteps and more of the surrounds)

Personally, I would like it to be a little bit warmer, but overall this is a fabulous headphone for the money. My personal favourite in the 150€ range. I still own a pair as my main gaming headphone.

The mic is clear however, I would suggest purchasing something to help with suppression.  Noise cancelation is good. They do slide around on my head of i move around too much. Overall i'm happy for the money.

 Stiff metal. It's a bit heavy, and I wish that the earcups swiveled because it pushes in front of my ears more than it does behind my ears. But the sound quality is great and the mic quality is good and i love how it retracts. The software key they sent activated easily for the surround sound

Heavy duty

I also saw a few IEM options such as the moondrop starfield or some super budget KZ earbuds. I'm in no way an audiophile so comfort and sound quality better than my razer krakens would be my top priority. And I don't want anything too analytical, but if it can be EQ'd its ok. I do not have an amp or dac, but if it can be included in the price its alright

 So if you are in a corner trying to find a decent headset with a big head look no further. These are for you.

Bought a second one, broken 2 years later (left-click and sensor). \-After my Razer Megalodon stopped working due to Windows10 (according to tech support) I bought a Razer Kraken which broke after a bit less than 2 years.

This headphones is a very good choice when it comes to budget, if there's anything to complain it will be the controls, they're on the cable, but for the price it's totally ok.
