The headphone is pretty good but not as good as expected. For example it is better than the Mh752 but not mileeess better although it is much pricier. I don't have anything else to say about it apart that it is a good headphone but just that it isn't that confortable and that it will probably need an amp (or use the FOX as an amp). I would go for HD560S or TYGR 300 R. Both are excellent for positional audio in gaming. Read some reviews and choose the one that suits your music listening tastes.

Best Open Back for &lt; $200 (Gaming &amp; General)

So I would stick to fairly easy to drive headphones so that you don't necessarily have to buy a headphone amp. HD560S and TYGR 300 R are both fairly easy to drive and are excellent for positional audio in gaming.

Budget: $200(American Dollars)

Source/AMP: Directly to desktop. Can consider buying an AMP if its completely necessary for the best audio.

How the gear will be used: I will mostly game with them and listen to music. I already have an external mic(SM58 with Scarlett Solo) so no need for a mic with the headphones. 

Preferred tonal balance: I would like a balanced headphone.

What aspect of your current listening experience would you like to improve: I would like to hear more in my games(more footsteps and more of the surrounds)

 But really the star of the show is the microphone tab and they've done such a good job here outlining all different parameters and you can hover over little question marks to learn about which of these what they do but if you're not into all the little things you can also play around with different presets either the pro broadcaster presets from different players or different blue voice presets which I found to be really good starting points I'm like tweaking them a little bit and what you're listening to now is my custom preset that I've also listened to and make sure that it's kind of what I like to hear and you can enable voice so this is right now without any blue voice software parameters interacting with the recording and now it is with so nice bass good broadcast quality nice compression the really cool thing they've done here is let you record a little mic test and then play around with different parameters and EQ settings so you can hear how the microphone will sound and only then apply the preset or save that as a preset which I found really cool my favorite out of the bunch would be the broadcast to preset and I've tweaked it a slightly that works well for my voice and now let me plug in a different headset like the original G pro so you can hear the difference between this microphone and the improved six millimeter capsule so what you're listening to now is that recorded by the original G pro headset going to the same DAC so all my parameters that I've applied for the pro x headset now goes into the original G pro and it sounds almost identical like the difference with the preset applied are almost not noticeable and even if I disable voice right now the actual quality of the microphone sounds identical even though it is a four millimeter capsule instead of six and now we got the GSP 300 plugged into the same USB DAC and listen to what happens to my voice when I enable blue voice alright so now we're listening to the same personal sound preset through the GSP 300 there's just something off about it even if I tweak my expander gate settings noise reduction presets and stuff like that there's just it doesn't sound as good as it does on a G pro X and the same can be said for the GSP 500 right now blue voice is enabled everything is going in the same DAC so I haven't changed anything by the headset and there's just something off about the focal clarity even when the blue voice is enabled when I disable it the microphone sounds pretty good and that could be the reason why Logitech is not selling the USB hub separately because it might interact with different microphones and might not benefit some microphones over others I was hoping to see more hardware implementation with blue microphones instead of it being really software focused and it's kind of weird because I always felt that pro line was always meant to be simplified it's just like it's right there it works but here they went like above and beyond in terms of customizing your voice to make you sound pro and it's more like audio editing software instead of it being a feature and sure we have multiple presets built in and you can go in and spend some time of like customizing to see what each slider does and how it affects your voice but it's almost like going against what the pro line is all about and when we asked if they will sell the dongle separately so that you can connect a different headset to it and still utilize the blue voice functionality they are kind of hesitant on that and I understand it because when testing my own headsets plugging in different things they sound different and therefore it could compromise the whole blue voice feature if you're plugging in a headset and it sounds terrible right so on that front I get it but again it had to be something clarified because my initial impression was like why don't you just sell this dongle separately so that I could utilize this voice functionality with plenty of my other headsets but they all do sound quite different versus this one alright good people so let me know your thoughts about the microphone quality and the whole blue voice functionality I definitely think it adds value but being the $30 dongle and surround sound being kind of terrible that is the only thing you're paying for but in terms of its being competitive the pro by itself at $99 is pretty decent but it is again competing with like the cloud alpha or the cloud 2 and it'll be interesting to see which headset people will gravitate towards in the long term because right now I feel like the cloud is like the dominant thing when it comes to designs like this alright I'm Dimitri thanks much for watching and I'll talk to you in the next video.

 In the acoustic tab here we have our volume microphone input and side tone and the side tone here is appropriately loud so if I max it out I can hear exactly what I'm saying so the microphone is nice and sensitive if you want to really monitor how loud you are speaking or if you can lower it if you don't find that to be useful to you. Logitech G PRO X Review - The Best Mic On A Gaming Headset?

 They pop right off, just pull it down, and the replacement ear pad has a big lip around it, so just put that in there and roll it around, and good to go. Very easy to change out. Now also with the headband right here, plenty of plush going all the way around. As you can see, it kind of holds that memory foam a little bit, so it's not too soft, not too firm

 Number one, this headset will be available in August and number two, it comes in at 199 bucks. So let's start right there. Is it worth 199 bucks? Yes. The wired one was what 139, I believe something like that

 Do you need that microphone? Do you need those options because again, you're paying for that right here and is it good? It's fantastic. It is hands down amazing, you know? So again, piece all that together and then it's going to be totally worth your money. I mean, the comfort, the build, the style is pristine. The only fault I can say is a swivel, but we all know that's personal preference

Logitech G Pro X Wireless Headset, DETAILED REVIEW!

 Usually I'm not a person who really likes wearing over their headphones, they've just never been comfortable for me, but these ones, they're pretty good, they're quite comfy. When it comes to sound quality, they're really good. It does have a more natural kind of flat sound so there's definitely not any booming bass on here, but not to the point where I feel like I'm missing out on games. Luckily, this will make your experience listening to music or movies a lot better so if you don't plan on using these solely for gaming, that can be a real perk

You can go into stuff like TSM Myth, all these Daquan, you know, all these other streamers and then people

 I also love the simplicity of the branding on here, just a small Logitech G logo on each side. They feel really great as they're made of metal so they feel really sturdy and premium. The stock earpads that are installed are made of leather so they're very comfortable. There are no buttons on the headset itself so the only controls you're going to have is going to be on the inline volume control on the braided cable

 So you can see it's a little slider, and as you turn it back up, I don't know if you can hear it on the video, but basically you can turn it up, turn it down, and you control basically how much you hear yourself through the microphone, so you can kind of like keep track of, you know, how loud you're speaking so you're not yelling while you're playing a game. I'm honestly like a really big fan of this feature. I know some people don't like it, some people just prefer to have it off, so it's just like you're wearing any normal kind of headphones, but having that voice monitoring feature is honestly something that I really like. Yeah, overall, this microphone sounds really good, and I think that because of, you know, all the options in here, you can customize it

Logitech G Pro X Headset Review + Mic Test | Still hold up in 2022?

 I'm glad they included this because with the two pairs of Arctis 7s that I had, I purchased separate cushions for them ($25+/pair). I never used the Arctis 7 wired, so I didn't care that the Logi's can only run wireless. The battery life is also superior to the Arctis 7, by far; GHub also works a hell of a lot better than SS Engine, surprisingly. Again, I moved away from Logi minus their office line, and was hoping to be let down by these

 I don't use a DAC anymore, nor do I have an external sound card-- I found that the "Broadcaster" and "FM Station" EQs for the mic were best; didn't need to tweak any other settings. When I did, there was slightly more noticeable noise, but not terrible. The mic beats the Arctis 7 straight up.

 For general use for the most part, I recommend turning off surround sound, and just running the natural "Flat" EQ-- I prefer this genuine stereo sound, but feel free to mess around with other EQs. For the mic portion, I did notice slightly more static at higher gains-- most mics are like this without a good DAC or sound card. I don't use a DAC anymore, nor do I have an external sound card-- I found that the "Broadcaster" and "FM Station" EQs for the mic were best; didn't need to tweak any other settings. When I did, there was slightly more noticeable noise, but not terrible

 Keep in mind, this is on PC-- I don't know if there are more issues on console, etc. but pretty sure these were made for PC first. The surround sound is definitely worse than the Arctis 7, as it is very muddy. I do enjoy the auto-switching of sound profiles similar to SS Engine's
