 Otherwise the helmet is great. I bought a medium (I used the measurements provided from REI/Bern, my head measured 22.5”) and it fits well.

 Instead I got a "non-MIPS" helmet, with just a hard foam structure. It seemed good quality and lightweight for what it was, but I am specifically looking for a MIPS helmet to keep my brain as safe as possible, so this was disappointing.

I ordered this thinking it was the Watts 2.0 with MIPS technology, as the description and the images (with the yellow interior) show. Instead I got a "non-MIPS" helmet, with just a hard foam structure. I liked that they used a specific type of foam as well as the MIPS added safety.  What blew me away most was the price, great price compared to most others and it was a good safe helmet.

When it came time to replace, I took a deep dive in the helmet world.  Definitely not the same as before but there are a lot of options for every type of rider.  I looked and looked and even went a few places to try on some helmets, but I eventually kept stumbling back to the Bern family of helmets.  I liked that they used a specific type of foam as well as the MIPS added safety

 This helmet is lightweight and offers good ventilation. The adjustment dial functions smoothly and all parts seem to be of good quality.

I am happy I went with the size small. It fits well with adjustable velcro padding on the top, rear adjustable strap, and along the forehead. The helmet doesn’t look too bulky. Some reviews mentioned that the finish shows scratches easily

I've been trying helmets quite some time and everyone seems to look too big on my head. I bought this helmet and tried two different sizes and each one made me look like a mushroom head. Return them both the search continues.
