 It's still a great knife, and I like the new MOLLE sheath, but I prefer the micarta handles over the new aluminum ones. My only real gripe is with the finger groove behind the ricasso is noticibly deeper than on the original, and makes for a weaker feel. That, and the handles aren't interchangeable because of the difference. Otherwise, it's another fine Benchmade product, razor sharp right out of the box

I had an original Allen Elishewitz Benchmade Nimravus with the micarta handles, and I loved it- except for the partially serrated blade (I'm just not a big fan of serrations). Not exactly the same as the original Elishewitz Nimravus

 I ordered the Kydex sheath separately and like the sheath but find the release a little tight. That will hopefully improve with use. Amazon packaging and shipping was first rate, as usual.

5" partially serrated, drop point blade made from 154CM steel should handle just about everything I can throw at it - I can't wait to work with it in the field. It's a bit small and light for a camp type "chopper" but could probably handle some of that duty in addition to being a great cutter and slicer. It is lightweight but you can still feel it in your hand and it is small enough to have on your waist or connected to a thigh-rig, backpack, etc.

Great All Purpose Knife

My blade has been coated in BK1, Benchmade’s proprietary poly-ceramic coating. BK1 is tough stuff, but it does show wear. Personally, I’m not a big fan of blade coatings, and would prefer to see Benchmade offer this knife in a stonewashed or satin finish. Especially since this knife is offered in stainless steel

 The edges of the handle are chamferred and sit slightly proud of the aluminum scales. The scales themselves are deeply textured for traction. 

 The Nimravus has the ability to flex into both of those roles. The 4.5″ blade gives you plenty of options. This knife will get plenty of work done, but can also be used as a martial blade if necessary

The Benchmade Nimravus is one of Benchmade’s original fixed blade designs. It has stood the test of time and remains popular to this day. A “Nimravus” is an ancient cat with large teeth. I’d say that’s fitting when you consider this blade’s profile

 This one comes with the car deck sheath. You can get a leather sheath form, but most of the time you're gon na find it is coming with that Kydex sheath and then it's the signature of the with your White River guarantee by the owner of White River knife and tool, and then you also get In the Box a little instruction card or your sheet on the different ways you can mount the lid on it, four different ways: one carry so next and now let me get you a close-up of the knife and sheet itself. So here you have the knife in its sheath, I, the one I purchased was the the black and gray toned colored micarta. I went ahead and stripped that and add it dyed it with some cherry red to give it a little bit of red

 Through you there's different positions, you can adjust it to and it works out very well, and the retention on it is is solid, solid retention for sure it has. It has a little bit of a click there and it grabs it and it holds in place no shaking you're not going to lose this thing. You know you can run with it down the trail. What have you? It'S not going anywhere solid retention, and this is nicely rounded, as as a push release on do it, so you can pull out the knife, so excellent, sheath, no nonsense! You know fairly streamlined, build good quality, couldn't be happier for $ 150 to get that that kind of Steel that s35vn steel on a on an every day carry blade

 An excellent feel excellent ergonomics. If you need to choke up and throw your finger out there towards the tip and do some finer cutting it's, it's still excellent feel for doing that. Even though there's no jumping down there, that's alright it still. It still works really really well, and it's just fits perfectly in this in this grip right here you get that full three-inch blade and it's a mild stone, wash it's kind of like a brushed stone wash for the blade which, which is just elegant all the way Around and it's a hundred percent made in the USA by by a family-run business and with from what I've heard, excellent warranty, an excellent customer service

 I think that hitting Canyon has a 2.75 two and three-quarter inch blade length versus the white rivers three inch, so you get a little bit more length of blade with this guy and the steel is basically the same as 30 vs s 35 right about the same Type of Steel, but the big difference to me least was - and everybody kind of, has a feel for my hand, size i've, where I kind of fit between a medium and a large size, glove and always end up wearing large. Because of that reason, I'm kind of right there in between my fingers, aren't very long but in my hands, not huge, but it's a good size average male hand and with the hidden Canyon, by Benchmade. There'S just not quite enough length in the handle

M1 Caper Knife by White River

 Lockup is a developing blade play. If it's an emergency, you know how fast can you deploy the blade and, of course, it's inherently going to be weaker than a full tang? For these reasons there has been a resurgence in the community of interest in small, fixed blades, but is it practical? Well, you are gon na give up some length. Okay, no doubt about that. This is a it's an Al Mar Eagle

 It'S got orange g10 handle scales and that length and that weight really piqued my interest, because this is the type of fixed blade. Sorry, if there's background noise, this is not a tabletop, but the weight in the length of this blade make it a fixed blade that could be carried in place of an EDC, folding knife and that's of interest to a lot of people. You see full tang construction white liners there, some jimping on a thumb rest here, it's got a stone wash, but the stone wash is very highly polished. You can see it reflecting some trees there

 Most people already have a budget price candy blade. At least most of my subscribers already own a Mora knife. This is a martini, but it's the same idea as a Mora. So I'm not saying you should replace your Mora, not at all I'm just saying how many Moroz can you buy

 The acute tip is good for basically surgical work, whether skinning first-aid or social situations. The ergonomics simple, but freakin, beautiful construction, first-rate, fit and finish first-rate, the stone wash with high polish first-rate, I mean yeah, it is expensive, but you're. Getting every little detail is perfect. The sheath, first-rate, you know compact light, does its job

I think what i what i like about this is: not only can you rock it around your neck, obviously taking the taking the belt clip off, but you can rock it on your belt and i think, what's nice is you can either ride it up up and Down vertical like this, or you can obviously turn the uh turn the clip, of course, and rock it so that it's sitting on your on your on your belt or you know, obviously on your belt uh

I love everything being from the us, but there's a lot of product out there that doesn't have to be, and so just uh saying that, just for whatever intents and purposes but anywho um listen. I think that, as far as the as far as the length is concerned, we've got seven seven inches in total overall length, three inches in blade, length and and weight. It'S nice, it's lightweight! It'S uh! You know we're coming in at 3

White River M1 Caper - Great Everyday Carry (EDC) Fixed Blade

 Everything the edges have been rounded off. Ok, so they're very, very comfortable, and you can tell that they paid a lot of attention to detail when they were handling this knife. Alright, just a little aggressive, but not to be not to the poem work actually digs into your thumb. It'S very comfortable and of course, as you guys know, this micarta handle was absolutely beautiful
