My issues are numerous so this will seem like a negative review but it is what it is. I have pretty normal sized hands, wearing gloves in the L and XL sizes depending. I find the handle of this knife is thin and narrow which in pocket are great but in use make it uncomfortable to grip well and extended use can cause cramps and soreness in my hands. Additionally there is no discernible effort to give the user traction

And the handle ergonomics are not great. I don't have any problem with the large handle size, but the edges are a bit sharp in my hand. That can be easily fixed with a little sandpaper or even a grey scotch pad, so that's not really an issue for me either. What is an issue, however, is the jumping on the liner lock

Only reason I am giving this knife a 4 out of 5 star is because the price and name. For 120$ you'd expect more from Benchmade the quality is still superb and above all other knives in my opinion, but for $120 you'd expect more from this knife. My other dissatisfaction is the name it should be called the EDC 535 not the Bugout 535. To some this really doesn't matter to others it might I'm just adding that in the review

The knife is ok for the price I paid for it, but the blade is very thin. The liner lock of one of the two I purchased is perfect, the other one very soft. I had the knife modded by a friend and that fixed the liner lock issue.
