 You'Ve got skeletonized steel liners with contoured black g10, some milled holes for weight reduction and traction plenty of jimping for a solid, secure grip on there. The overall weight comes in at 4.6 ounces, a nice hefty edc, but still very carriable. You'Ve got a reversible, deep, carry clip for tip up, carry and a generous hole for lanyard attachment

 Take a look at it here with a couple of other knives. We'Ve got a mini griptilian, so you can see a bit larger than the mini griptilian beefier. In the blade stock there you got just a bit more cutting edge and then we'll take a look at it with my bug out here, actually pretty close in size. In terms of the overall length, similar cutting edge there, but you're really going to see a major difference in the overall thickness and then, of course, the weight as the bug out is designed as an ultralight, edc and here's a quick shot of all four of those Knives together - and here you can see the knife in my pocket - the deep carry clip provides secure, discrete carry while the smooth g10 allows for a fast draw from the pocket

[ Music, ] tyler here with gp knives and we're back again to take a look at the benchmade mini adamus. Go over these specs real quick we've got a blade of cpm crew wear. So this is going to be a powder, metallurgy tool, steel that delivers excellent toughness and wear resistance for good edge retention, you're looking at performance in terms of toughness that is approaching, that of the ultra tough 3v and edge retention on par with s35vn. There'S a nice matte gray, cerakote coating on the blade, which is also going to help with corrosion resistance

This is a true Benchmade, the quality is fantastic, with just a flick its open pull the Axis flick and its closed. i carry many different tools on a regular basis and this one will take its own spot, the hard part is deciding what blade gets left out, after all you only have so many pockets. Looking forward to trying the Cruwear steel, it has a fantastic factory edge. some say its BIG I say it fits, it fits the hand no thumb cramps trying to open

I can’t review something that I still haven’t received as of yet. It has been 2 weeks and the delivery service that you use has been sitting on it for 8 days about 1 hour from my home.

65 and then the overall weight is going to go from nearly 8 ounces 7.8 on the original to just under 6.5, so pretty noticeable difference in the hand here. If the original adamus is a tank, then the new one is definitely a streamlined and high speed tank

 Take a look at the footprint on these two pretty comparable footprint there and the overall weight. The adonis outweighs the 8015 by close to a quarter of an ounce and that's probably going to be explained with the billet aluminum yoke on the ad-15, so very close specs comp on these two knives, we'll take a look at the adamus with the spyderco shaman. One of their beefier folders, you actually see the shaman is pretty well dwarfed by the adamus. Despite the large size shorter in the overall blade and cutting edge, blade thickness is going to be pretty close to the same on these two

 We'Ve got the adamus here with the cold steel ab15 light, so you can see somewhat similar design there with the drop point blade and similar overall size. Functional grip area is pretty comparable, cutting edge length and blade length. You can see. The adamus has a slightly thinner blade stock on there, while still maintaining a pretty robust point, not quite as much as the ad-15, but the crew wear more than makes up for any loss of durability with the thickness handle thickness is pretty much the same

 Adamus is going to come in the two colorways, the tungsten gray cerakote in black, as well as the new colorway for the adonis line. The flat earth and od green, so nice earth tones there same construction and materials. A little word on crew wear crew air is a particle metallurgy tool, steel and it's going to deliver edge retention similar to that of s30v, so pretty good edge retention for a tool. Steel, especially considering that the toughness is approaching that of the ultra tough 3v, so great choice on this beefy tactical folder from benchmade and we'll do some quick size comparisons

 One day, I forgot to do this. The next morning I woke up went to grab this knife for work and found rust. Not rust you can wipe off either, straight up deep rust. I don't know if it's a bad run, isolated incident or what but the customer service didn't make it any better

Materials, fit and finish and feel in hand are all better on the civivi for almost half the price. Lock up and action on the civivi is just as good feeling as the benchmade but the BM does have the axis lock if that means a lot to you. The quality of the civivi is shocking for the price.

 It’s no super steel but is ideal for most of my needs; definitely not a junk steel. Nothing about this knife feels cheap. Blade is centered, bevels are even, edge came very sharp. Very good value for the money

 I wanted a user that I would not feel bad when it got scratched up. The size is perfect for my needs, not too big or small. The blade shape is convenient for most of my EDC needs. Opening and closing are maybe a little too fun; driving my wife nuts

 The G10 has a great feel to it with good texture and doesn’t feel like cheap plastic. The Notro-v blade steel reminds me a lot of VG10; easy to sharpen and holds a decent edge. It’s no super steel but is ideal for most of my needs; definitely not a junk steel. Nothing about this knife feels cheap

 Blade is centered, bevels are even, edge came very sharp. Very good value for the money. CIVIVI has really impressed me with many of their offerings; this is definitely one of their best. I hope they keep this pattern around

The knife is pretty ergonomic and comfortable but it’s extremely aggravating to spend almost $100 on a blade and it break 3 weeks in.

 A bchoil beneath the edge works with a finger groove on the handle to allow users a choke-up point if precision is need. The Imperium will be debuting in the expect slew of handle materials: G-10, Micarta, and carbon fiber. As is often the case with Civivi releases, certain variations will also swap out the Nitro-V steel for Damascus blades. This won’t surprise anybody who follows Civivi, but the pocket clip is a deep carry, looper over number; the Imperium weighs 2

95 oz. Designed by the in-house team, Civivi says that the Imperium will be available for purchase on May 20th. It will almost certainly be on display at Blade Show next month alongside other recent Civivi releases, like the button lock and fixed blade Elementum variants.  But there are some interesting things going on with the Imperium’s blade beyond its classic shape and size. First off, it comes with two different opening methods: a dual thumb stud and a front flipper. On top of that, Civivi deviated from their usual steel choices here, giving users a blade made from Nitro-V, a nitrogen-enriched steel comparable to AEB-L; Nitro-V isn’t a super steel, but as a modern budget steel it combines great stain resistance with more than adequate edge retention. Thanks to the front flipper, which disappears completely when the knife is open, the Imperium’s handle is linear and super clean

 In terms of blade length, the Imperium falls onto the larger end of Civivi’s folder lineup. Its blade clocks in at 3.5 inches in length – enough cutting edge for light and medium cutting chores.
