 You'Ve got skeletonized steel liners with contoured black g10, some milled holes for weight reduction and traction plenty of jimping for a solid, secure grip on there. The overall weight comes in at 4.6 ounces, a nice hefty edc, but still very carriable. You'Ve got a reversible, deep, carry clip for tip up, carry and a generous hole for lanyard attachment

 Take a look at it here with a couple of other knives. We'Ve got a mini griptilian, so you can see a bit larger than the mini griptilian beefier. In the blade stock there you got just a bit more cutting edge and then we'll take a look at it with my bug out here, actually pretty close in size. In terms of the overall length, similar cutting edge there, but you're really going to see a major difference in the overall thickness and then, of course, the weight as the bug out is designed as an ultralight, edc and here's a quick shot of all four of those Knives together - and here you can see the knife in my pocket - the deep carry clip provides secure, discrete carry while the smooth g10 allows for a fast draw from the pocket

So this is going to be a powder, metallurgy tool, steel that delivers excellent toughness and wear resistance for good edge retention, you're looking at performance in terms of toughness that is approaching, that of the ultra tough 3v and edge retention on par with s35vn. There'S a nice matte gray, cerakote coating on the blade, which is also going to help with corrosion resistance

This is a true Benchmade, the quality is fantastic, with just a flick its open pull the Axis flick and its closed. i carry many different tools on a regular basis and this one will take its own spot, the hard part is deciding what blade gets left out, after all you only have so many pockets. Looking forward to trying the Cruwear steel, it has a fantastic factory edge. some say its BIG I say it fits, it fits the hand no thumb cramps trying to open

I can’t review something that I still haven’t received as of yet. It has been 2 weeks and the delivery service that you use has been sitting on it for 8 days about 1 hour from my home.

65 and then the overall weight is going to go from nearly 8 ounces 7.8 on the original to just under 6.5, so pretty noticeable difference in the hand here. If the original adamus is a tank, then the new one is definitely a streamlined and high speed tank

 Take a look at the footprint on these two pretty comparable footprint there and the overall weight. The adonis outweighs the 8015 by close to a quarter of an ounce and that's probably going to be explained with the billet aluminum yoke on the ad-15, so very close specs comp on these two knives, we'll take a look at the adamus with the spyderco shaman. One of their beefier folders, you actually see the shaman is pretty well dwarfed by the adamus. Despite the large size shorter in the overall blade and cutting edge, blade thickness is going to be pretty close to the same on these two

 We'Ve got the adamus here with the cold steel ab15 light, so you can see somewhat similar design there with the drop point blade and similar overall size. Functional grip area is pretty comparable, cutting edge length and blade length. You can see. The adamus has a slightly thinner blade stock on there, while still maintaining a pretty robust point, not quite as much as the ad-15, but the crew wear more than makes up for any loss of durability with the thickness handle thickness is pretty much the same

 Adamus is going to come in the two colorways, the tungsten gray cerakote in black, as well as the new colorway for the adonis line. The flat earth and od green, so nice earth tones there same construction and materials. A little word on crew wear crew air is a particle metallurgy tool, steel and it's going to deliver edge retention similar to that of s30v, so pretty good edge retention for a tool. Steel, especially considering that the toughness is approaching that of the ultra tough 3v, so great choice on this beefy tactical folder from benchmade and we'll do some quick size comparisons

 It really just fits beautifully, and at least in my hand, um, and you know what the the other banter, the other banter, the the the wii banter uh, the the first design in this line. I guess um also did as well. It had really nice ergos and it also had a nice action for that matter, but but for whatever reason, i really find this one super comfortable and again. This is where i start to draw these comparisons

 There was a lot of compelling value to the original knife and i think this baby banter is equally so and if you're the dragonfly take notice, uh, there's there's a new kid in town and kid knows what he's doing as it relates to uh being an adc Knife so really well done savi, i think, and and nicely done ben on taking a design and maybe making it smaller, but also making it its own thing and doing it very well, so really do like this knife. I actually think i give this a mild banner masterpiece, um designation, which you know i i don't give out a ton, but i think this one deserves it. I like it, i like not only the story. I like the price

 This size um, it's not something you as i fail it. Of course. It'S not something you usually get, you know as knives get smaller and smaller. It can be harder and harder to get to get an action

 There are definitely some similarities between um, the the child and the parent and the baby. Banter and the banter are no exception. There are definitely some carryovers, but by and large um this is definitely its own knife, it's its own design, uh and it deserves, i think, to be treated as such. It deserves to not kind of sit in that shadow of of the banter itself

 The Civivi Baby Banter is currently challenging the Native 5 LW for space in my heart thanks to how good it is in a pinch grip (it's almost like Ben Peterson holds his knives in some odd positions or something? Like he has some sort of "finger test"... It's hard to know for sure what that man values in a knife

What are your major disagreements with the Internet Knife Community?

The reason why I personally don't like small blades for outdoor use is, that bigger blades have bigger handles, allowing for a full, and thus more comfortable grip. Holding a knife with 2 or 3 fingers and working on some wood gets uncomfortable pretty fast.

Dragonfly, has a quite short blade, good for EDC and office carry, I would want something with a bigger blade for going outdoor.

 Crkt squid, to heavy for my liking with the full steel handle scales, but there should be lighter aftermarket ones, again a small blade, good for EDC/office, but very annoying to use for anything outdoors.

I am on a tight budget and looking to get my first real knife for everyday use, office, outdoors, etc.

I narrowed down the options after lots of searching to the following.

Civivi Baby banter, its small, useful, not too expensive or threatening, comes in loads of colors and if you get one with a dlc coated blade it also wont really rust.

Knives to gift people who aren’t into knives?

I've been seeing this knife for a while and was afraid to pull the trigger because I'm not familiar with the company and the price point is in that grey area of almost being too high for me to justify the gamble of losing the money, and low enough where quality is immediately in question. That being said, I got a gift card and decided to give it a go.

This knife is solid and feels solid in the hand. The handle does not bend or flex when pressure is applied (and I squeezed it almost as hard as I could to check it).
