 For the price, I would not only gladly buy this again for myself, but am planning on buying a few to give as gifts to family members/friends who I know have the cheaper stands that came in their kits. I couldn't be happier.  If you want to upgrade your current setup from the cheap nonsense you get in the store-bought kits, or are planning on investing in your first fryer setup (or setup for seafood boils, etc) and just want to make sure you get the most for your money and something that will last, this is DEFINITELY the way to go.

 This is the kind of stand that lasts a lifetime. There is absolutely no give, no flexing, no bending, and no stability issues at all. For the price, I would not only gladly buy this again for myself, but am planning on buying a few to give as gifts to family members/friends who I know have the cheaper stands that came in their kits. Incredible. Huge improvement from store-bought kits

  The only negative thing I have found with the unit is its height. Since I'm a very tall guy, cooking on the ground is not an option for me. Even seated I'm having to bend over to cook which is not comfortable. I can put it on my outdoor counter top but that puts my wok nearly at chin level

 The problem was the burner itself. So I gave up and sent it back.  I still give this 3 stars because it did work pretty well at lower settings -- it was about as powerful as what you'd get from a high-end Wolf indoor gas range or the like (~15kBTU). But from an outdoor burner, I expect a lot more

 I called the manufacturer twice -- on the first call, I got a rather unhelpful gentlemen who basically told me "you don't really need all that heat" and that was that. Well, I bought this unit because I want a lot of heat, and all the reviews indicate that this burner ought to give you a lot of heat. So that wasn't really acceptable. I called again a few days later and got somebody a bit more helpful, who sent me a new regulator and hose

 I would opt for a 30psi regulator though (which is what i'm going to buy). That's my 0.02 anyways.  O BTW - the paint will flake off b/c of the high heat - this thing is loud too! It's LOW LOW LOW and that's a safety factor for me b/c my buddy has the higher version of this and I don't feel safe standing by it especially taking the crawfish out when done

 I'll complain if the company is worth it - seems like these guys don't want to take care of their customers. I'm not rating on missing parts/crappy customer service or the likes. I'm giving a rating on the item itself - if rocks! Errrrrr even with teh 10psi regulator ;) I should have purchased their higher end one - maybe it would come with a 20psi regulator?  On the BTU now.

Great little burner - bummer on the BTU!

 This unit excels at producing an 80,000 BTU roar but it is difficult to adjust for lower cooking temperatures. UPDATE AFTER SIX MONTHS OF USE: This cooker needs a much better gas flow control valve. It is very difficult to adjust the size of the flame with the tiny valve that comes with the unit. A larger adjusting valve would allow you to adjust the flame size so you can cook at lower temperatures

 The air fryer option was the reason I decided to go for it. Now, there is a problem - the separate air fryer lid needs to be kept somewhere, and that, in my kitchen, is a problem. As an air fryer, it is not bad, but it is a smaller one and size is a huge thing for air fryers, so that the air can circulate correctly. It does fit under the cabinets with the lid on, but it gets to be a pain if you need to open it to turn the food

 The downside though, temperature control leaves a lot to be desired - it can easily be a couple of degrees off when checked with a thermometer, and sous vide is all about precise temperature. Also, the pot is again on the smaller side for sous vide, but it would have been just great for say a couple of steaks. That being said, it was pretty convenient for veggies, where I am way less sensitive on having a precise temperature. I used the sous vide setting to make yogurt - that came out really nicely, and you can line the air fryer contraption with cheesecloth to strain the yogurt afterward, which was pretty convenient

Pretty decent, but not excellent

My husband talked me into buying the Instant Pot and I'm glad he did.  He needs to be on a special diet because of health issues and this allows me to cook meals without the added fat of frying .  It is also faster and much healthier and the food tastes more like real food.  The pressure cooker and steam features are my favorites so far

 My initial impressions are Instant Pot is of slightly higher quality even if they look made at the same manufacturing plant. The finish seems better, the parts seem more solid, and the interactive interface seems more robust. I preferred the astetics of the Ninjas interface, but that's not nearly as important as cooking. The Instant Pot reminds you to when turn your food- a nice feature so you don't have to watch the clock

Broiling reached 400-450 F between the inner pot and the hottest point on the element itself

 All you have to do is increase your target temp by 10 degrees. Your Instant Pot may differ, but for a Chinese-built multicooker, that isn't bad. Temperature seemed to increase 1-2 degrees per 10 minutes without food in there, but maybe that offsets the cooling from food placed inside.  I returned my Ninja Foodi 6

  Someone else wrote about sous vide not reaching temperature. He must have not read the directions; you need it fill water to the "1/2" mark. It then reaches temp (195 F reached 185F, and 144 reached 135F). Sure, this could be better, but for an all-in-one device, it should accomplish its task as promised

Also, the air fryer basket is quite small to lay out food on a single layer. I’ve been using the roasting tray to add more food to the quantity that is being fried. But then it’s a pain to turn the food when set up in multi layer mode because the roasting tray doesn’t come with a handle (because it’s hot) to remove it to get to the bottom layer of food. So rather than frying a whole batch of something you will most likely have to go in cycles

the Air fryer lid is 6 lbs so it sets down snuggly first time you aim it . Then let's talk Air fry. This is some serious power. It preheats in like a minute to 400° and the position of the rack is perfect height for chicken thighs

 Su Vide button on Insta Pot (Take 1)- I tried cooking without the lid, because that’s usually how Sou Vide works- open bath. I forgot that it takes some time to come up to temp. (130F for 3 hours was my goal). It took about half an hour for the Insta Pot to come up to temp and start the clock for 3 hours

 We did move the meat around in an attempt to circulate the water. The meat turned out perfect anyway- tender and an even pink color throughout. (see picture) Sou Vide button (Take 2)- This time I tried the Sou Vide function with the lid on, with target goal of 140F for 3 hours. It took about 32 minutes for it to come to temp
