Battlefield 4 vs Far Cry 5

The bullet spray and movement is more jarring than I remember but the sandbox makes up for it.

We've had the Freemen, the Unabomber, a serial killer cannibal, religious colonies where boys and girls can't sit on the same side of the classroom, animals that can and will eat you, an annual festival for consuming fried bull testicles, an extreme gun fetish, lots of wide open space, and racking up double-digit DUIs is basically our state sport.

I play on Xbox One with a solid Internet connection. All other games work great except Battlefield. The issues include the inability to connect to servers, the matchmaking joins you to incorrect game types, the game crashes often causing you to lose your place on that server, the single player campaign save file can become corrupted causing you to lose all progress, and the list goes on. It's been a month and a half since launch, and the game seems to have become less stable than it was four weeks ago

Far Cry 5, 6 is coming out in October (co-op & open-world). Need for speed Heat (Gamepass, EA Play).

graphics are sweeter, clearer and more stable then xbox360 ( obviously xboxone is a superior console as far as ability). Now to me..

Graphically beautiful: being in a high mountain valley in game felt like being in one in real life, they absolutely nailed the feel and look of the whole Rocky Mountain region. Weapons are excellent and modifiable with a good selection of sights, though the selection is somewhat limited- no Glock analogue. Was able to rig up an AR just like mine in real life, and shoot it on semi-auto, which is a much appreciated option for weapons use in games like this. The non-avoidable kidnappings are annoying, especially when you somehow get captured while wingsuiting 1000 feet above the ground, but they do advance the story, so whatever

or one of the many Call of Duty games I have. The story campaign was really cringy and uninspired. The MP is nothing special

The story is excellent, and many games lose it there. This one delivers. I always like earlier Far Cry games, prior to 4, but they've upped their game significantly in these two with 5 being the pinnacle. I have to say that one thing that makes this standout so much in the console gaming world, is that it's not tied to an internet connection and a continuous feel of trying to sell you something, which I think destroys immersion (along with having to game with strangers on the net)
