 This board is available in four sizes, 148, 151, 154, and 157. I rode this board at Copper Mountain after there were feet of fresh snow. It was bluebird skies, cooler temps, no wind, perfectly groomed corduroy, and I rode it with my Roam, Black Label bindings, and my K2 Thraxis boots. Clearly this is going to be a directional flex

 Hello snowboarders of the internet, I'm your host Avron Lefebvre and in this video we'll

 be reviewing the Battalion PartyWave Plus.

 If the PartyWave is for people that want to party, the PartyWave Plus is for those on

 This board features Battalion's medium camber with freeride 3BT and sidekick technology.

 Medium camber meaning traditional camber that you actually have to load up.

 Side 3BT is more defined than jib 3BT, freestyle 3BT, and not as defined as powder 3BT.

 The sidekick technology also helps scoop out the nose and the tail, that way you're going

 to get better float and powder and ease of entry in and out of turns.

 This board is available in four sizes, 148, 151, 154, and 157.

 Having traditional camber in this board means it's got snap, and with the carbon in the

 This board will go up, over, or onto anything you want.

 It's easy to engage, and you can be a little more laid back because you've got this wider

 So if you're looking to surf the white wave and still porpoise in and out of everything,

 In terms of butterability, the nose is obviously going to be the talking point here.

 Between the sidecut, between the sidekick and the 3BT technology, you've got a giant

 spoon out there to really press and swivel and sizzle.

 The tail, a little stiffer, so you're doing more wheelies, high-speed buttering with it.

 Now, soft, fresh snow or slush, it's going to be easy to butter on.

 Firm snow, you're going to be working for it, so you're going to have your weight way

 out over the nose or way out over the tail, you're going to have to put a little more

 speed behind it to get done any type of buttering variation.

 This board rolls in and out of turns with ease.

 You never really have to struggle with it initiating, and as it is wider, you don't

 What you're going to notice is you can steer off the front foot so you engage that turn

 through the front foot, but then you can drive aggressively off the tail, so you can just

 really hammer that back knee into the center of the board to manipulate the carve and drive

 That softer flex in the middle is what allows you to just change the apex of your turns.

 Overall, this board does not suck for short, tight, quick turns or long, hard, drawn-out

 It's much covered for everything in between, which makes it a versatile party board.

 Someone that's heavier and into party boarding, someone that's on the VIP list, someone that

 Overall, I wish I'd been on the 54, not the 57.

 The 57 was too much board for me, and it made me work for it harder than I wanted to, so

 it was less party boarding and more workout boarding.

 That 3BT and everything that it's got going on allows this board to roll easily.

 It also acts like a nice hull in fresh powder, so it really just funnels it out.

 Basically, if you take everything you liked about the original party wave but you wanted

 Comparable boards, the Lib Tech Stump Vape, the Ride Super Pig, the K2 Cool Bean.

 This has been my review of the Battalion Party Wave Plus.
