 My new Glowlight doesn't do this; the dictionary text remains extremely small so I have to reach for the glasses anyway. The battery needs to be recharged OFTEN, and while the replies to other reviewers who complained about this suggests some ways to avoid this, its annoying to have to do the extra steps. Also, one of the suggestions to increase battery life is to turn down the glowlight, so I have to turn on the table lamp anyway. Now that I think about it, I don't think I would recommend it

A qualified recommendation

 It does have a couple of quirks so it is running Android so it's not quite as smooth an experience and the Nook software is a little bit quirky in terms of like there are times when I just want to like bring up the controls so that I can change font size and it goes to the next page instead and I'm like I don't want to go to the next page and I back up and then I try to get that to come up and it goes to the next page. So there's a little bit of a learning curve with that but once you get the hang of it as I've certainly done at this point then it's really easy and you just swipe and you swipe and you just keep reading your book and it's just a pleasure and the idea that I can have something this thick that has 10 or 15 books in it well obviously you're an ebook reader too or ebook reader fan too which is why you're checking this out. So really nice Android tablet really slick integration into the Barnes and Noble Nook system at a pretty darn good price tag it's about the price of what three or four best-selling hardbacks and you've got this forever with all of its features. So let's get to the price of that and the folio case but before we do I'm going to ask if you can give me some feedback give me a thumbs up if you appreciate this leave a comment if there's something you wish I would have demonstrated or talked about and I didn't and of course feel free to subscribe to my channel I really appreciate each and every subscriber it's really helpful

8 by 2 tenths of an inch thick. It's 15 ounces so it's a little heavy and this you know I'm including the case on here too. I'm not a huge fan of the case because the edges are a little sharp and I often will read an eBook holding it like this and it's a little sharp the edges on my finger. So I wish they had used a slightly different material not to mention maybe some fun colors or something

 I have my hand entirely on the screen here without any issues at all. Again here, writing is just smooth. It glides across the screen. It works great

 There is also a pretty decent amount of weight to this tablet, which I wasn't expecting either for maybe because it has Lite in its name, but this is actually a pretty sturdy and solid feeling tablet here. We do have those AKG speakers on here, which is great to see, although it is a dual speaker setup, opposed to a quad speaker setup, but I think having those dual speakers will be sufficient. We'll check out the audio quality here in a bit. On the top here, we have our mic and a headphone jack, nothing on the left side of the device

Now, this is Samsung's latest tablet that was just released about a week ago, and its main selling point is the price, coming in at just $350. And this is significantly cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, which comes in at $650. We have a very similar screen size at 10

But for regular users? Take this money and spend it on the lowest-priced iPad, and take advantage of what the iPad OS and its ecosystem offer, which will—for most users—be far more appropriate.

But for everyone else, it's hard to say that iPad OS isn't a far better tablet environment at this point. As a user, I seriously prefer Android vs. iPad OS by far, as least as far as the UI and user experience of the OS goes. But also as a user, there's no denying that while an iPad edges ever closer to a legitimate laptop replacement (albeit with restrictions I struggle to live with—hence buying this), an Android tablet is still just a giant Android phone—with mostly phone-like apps, and far fewer of them, than iPad OS with its increasingly serious productivity ecosystem

I'll preface this review by saying: (1) I strongly prefer Android to iOS as an environment (2) This review may not be entirely "fair" to Samsung, but it's fair to users/would-be buyers I own an iPad Pro already, but there are some significant things that I wanted from this tablet: - Something more "holdable" with a large screen, which you can't get with Apple's 4:3 screen shape - The ability to access and cary files from my "main" computer far more easily than is possible with iOS - The ability to run Termux for Linux access - The ability to use a mouse with my tablet at times on the go, with a *pointer* All of those things meant that I needed an Android tablet. In the past I'd have gone with Huawei but now they're not a good bet due to all the geopolitical intrigue and software limitations. I didn't pick up the Tab A because it doesn't have a light sensor (no screen auto-brightness) or a full S6 because the price was just too high. So the S6 Lite seemed like the right bet

 We got between 8 hours and 10 hours on our different battery tests. The real-life use is an endurance gem. If you need a tablet that will last a full workday with its screen on, the Tab S6 Lite can do it, provided, of course, you don't have five floating apps on the screen at all times. As the name suggests, it's a less powerful version of the previously released Galaxy Tab S6, and indeed, this tablet here costs $350, and the styler you see is included.  In terms of sharpness, the resolution is… sufficient, but the software sometimes has some trouble with scaling for the weird aspect ratio, and small images or letters may appear jagged, especially in third-party apps. Samsung fans will also be disappointed to know that this is an LCD panel instead of one of those newer AMOLED panels that have more vibrant colors. Still, it's a good-looking LCD screen. Colors are well-balanced, and it can get bright enough for most situations

 There's also no access to Samsung DeX, which is a shame, so you cannot turn this into a makeshift desktop machine. The battery life of the Galaxy S6 is excellent. We got between 8 hours and 10 hours on our different battery tests. The real-life use is an endurance gem

 The Tab S6 Lite has the benefit of being more portable than the base iPad, so it's the better choice if you want that small form factor. It also comes with its own excellent stylus in the box, so that's a cover with one payment of $350. And the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with 64GB of internal storage, which you can further expand with a microSD card. In contrast, the $330 iPad has just half of that, 32GB of memory

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite review: Just a really good Android tablet

 Even though the tablet has fast charging capabilities it comes with a regular charger, that said, I have been using it for three days straight and only charged twice (I did this to see how long the battery life is) and the battery was never below 15% by the time I plugged it in. I think having a fast charger would've been a nice little extra. I see my self enjoying my Samsung Galaxy S6Tab Lite for many years to come. [This review was collected as part of a promotion

 The screen feels amazing when drawing or writing notes with the SPen, it is smooth, but gives you the feedback and feel as if you were writing on paper almost. The SPen feels very good to hold and attaches magnetically to the tablet. I am yet to find if the tablet can alert you of the SPen being too far from it. The colors of the display are very vivid and watching HD videos or movies is a pleasure to the eyes, this is something my 7 year old son has been enjoying very much for the last couple of days! There is only one thing, that while is not the end of the world it is the sole reason as to why four stars
