So Avan, if you're watching, call me. That was my review of the brand new Avan Intense Protect SPF 50 Plus for face and body for very sensitive skin for those hot summer days. Let me know down below, are you interested in trying this out? What are your thoughts on this new Tri-Storm filter are? Have you tried this already and what your experience was?  So breaking down some of the sunscreen details a little bit, filter wise, again, this is a European sunscreen, so they're able to use some of those good, good filters. This specifically has Uvinal A Plus for UVA protection, Uvinal T150 for the UVB part of the range, Triasorb, which is that new, new filter that's claiming broad spectrum, very broad spectrum across the entirety of the UV spectrum, as well as getting into visible light to offer some blue light protection. Did I get it to work with makeup? Yes. But I don't always want to get some screens to work with makeup

 Let's celebrate that. This just launched, if I'm not mistaken, just because I know when I finally saw it go live, it wasn't available even on Boots. I actually ordered this from a Spanish pharmacy, link for that is going to be in the description box. But this is now available at Boots at £20 for 150ml, she's a big girl

 How are you today? So there is a new sunscreen on the block and that in itself isn't the exciting part, but rather it's a new sunscreen that's for sensitive skin, that's fragrance, essential oil, and alcohol free. But not only that, it's introducing a brand new UV filter into the market, which is really exciting because I don't feel like that happens very frequently. So with that, today we're talking about the new Avene Intense Protect SPF 50 Plus Sun Cream for very sensitive skin.  So when it says SPF of 50, then UVA should be at least equal to a third of that. And again, something to say about that is that that is also, in general, something companies are testing themselves. So when you see a UVA in a circle, then it is something that the companies that are producing in a sort of product, that is a sunscreen, they have tested it themselves. It's not tested some sort of official place as such

 So we have spoken about that before. So that means that it is at least a third of the UVA kind of like protection compared to UVB. So when it says SPF of 50, then UVA should be at least equal to a third of that. And again, something to say about that is that that is also, in general, something companies are testing themselves

 They have tested this UV filter on. So another thing about the EU is that the EU have not tested any sort of environmental impact from this product here. So when you read about the impact on the environment from that new filter, then it is Pierre Fabre that have tested it themselves. So this product here is, you can see up here, it has a UVA in a circle

Black Girl Sunscreen REVIEW and DEMO! Black Girl Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Black Girl Sunscreen for kids is great for damaged moisture barrier and dehydrated skin because it’s very nourishing and moisturizing. You can find it at target for $11

I’ll get to the point and say I’ve tried a total of 3 sunscreens after not using one since I realized my skin was dehydrated due to the use of harsh products (clean &amp; clear morning, night cleansers and St. Ives scrubs - only 😩😭 Freakin’ Bad, yes, I know):

1. Isntree HA Watery Sun Gel - felt great going on, but would eventually burn my eyes and leave my skin uncomfortable by the end of the day. Not to mention the dewiness was not something I liked. Though wasn’t sure if it was from that or the oiliness from the dehydration seeping through. 

2. Canmake Mermaid UV (Clear) - Just no. Didn’t work out for me after a week;eyes didn’t burn, which was the only plus.

3. CORSX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream - Recent one. Wanted it to work, but the application was terrible and left my face feeling uncomfortable. 

As of right now, I am not using a sunscreen (live close to my job and rarely go out, especially with Daylight Savings Time in full swing), but have one on the way (Nivea in the light purple bottle?) and looking into a few in case that one doesn’t work.

Open to suggestions, particularly the ones I can find in stores (ex: Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, Ulta, etc.).

* Was using **Supergoop** Unseen Sunscreen SPF40 - great for mattifying, no white cast BUT I am currently trying the **Black Girl** Sunscreen SPF 30 - no white cast and very hydrating without a greasy feeling
