 There was no pilling but I prefer to use this more so in the evening on top of tretinoin. And I've also mentioned that this has outperformed the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream which I really love and raved about in the past. HOW TO REPAIR YOUR SKIN BARRIER | BEST PRODUCTS!

 So today I'm going to be sharing a list of products that will help to repair your skin's

 A lot of us can go through dryness and irritation that is caused by active ingredients like

 tretinoin, retinols, even exfoliating acids, and then sometimes we will experience dryness

 So I have 7 products here that I find work really well to repair the skin's barrier and

 to bring your skin back to a balanced level.

 So let's get right into it, but before we do, if you could please like this video, subscribe

 By doing so, you will always be notified whenever I upload a new video and I do upload videos

 I have 7 products to go through and I don't want this video to be too lengthy, but when

 I talk about a damaged skin barrier, or I should say a compromised skin barrier, there's

 a list of things that you could experience when you're going through this.

 And a lot of the times you can experience dryness, tightness of the skin, sensitivities

 You can also experience redness as well as dehydration.

 There are a list of things that you could experience.

 And a lot of the times you can experience a compromised skin barrier with using retinols,

 tretinoin, exfoliating acids like glycolic, lactic, salicylic acid, and of course if you

 have sensitive skin to begin with, then you can be experiencing irritation and sensitivities

 So when your skin is in this state, you want to make sure that you lay off on all of your

 high strength products and just have a simple hydrating skincare routine until your skin

 The first product is by Eucerin and this is the calming cream.

 Now I've talked about this before on my channel and I do have a dedicated video on skin irritation

 caused by retinol, specifically the neck area.

 And I did show a before and after photo of my neck and what I experienced with retinol

 And I have to be careful with retinols on the neck.

 My skin can be really red and raw and it's not pretty.

 So when I was experiencing that back then, I actually tried this product on my neck and

 within a couple of days, my neck was back to normal.

 And that's what made me film that video so that I can help other people because I'm telling

 you right now, retinol irritation can be a real nightmare for some people.

 And my neck is atrocious when it comes to retinol.

 Certain retinol products I can tolerate, I can't use it every day and I just have to
