 All the tracks we love the driver here including my favourite, the great Nordschleife Green Hell which in my opinion is one of the best versions to be implemented into a sim. We have a good selection of old and new F1 cars here with some excellent cars with one of my favourite F1 cars, the Gen 2 V10. The Formula Ultimate which is Ryza's version of the newer F1 cars which in my opinion is just terrible, the car doesn't feel like it should, it feels extremely arcadey, it feels glued to the road, it just doesn't feel right to me so I'd steer clear of that one. We have the Brazilian series with a range of really good stock cars, utes, Brazilian form of trainers and trucks

The prototype section which has some P1, P2, P3 cars with the P2 and P3 cars are the best in the category to drive in my opinion and the most fun to race. As with the Group C cars the sound of the engines in these cars, the Porsche and the Mercedes are just amazing inside and out

 I wholeheartedly play mostly in VR using my HP Reverb G2 and this is where AMS2 really shines. The visual crispness of the vehicle detail and track detail is just outstanding in AMS2 and comparing to other sims that support VR, performance is excellent even in multi-vehicle races in wet weather. That being said there are a few instances where the game slows down on some tracks in different situations, slowly those problems are being fixed, some memory leaks and bits and pieces that will eventually get fixed in the game as well. So far the in-game content is good but I would definitely like to see more car manufacturers in the game, this could be just licensing issues that hopefully get fixed soon

 Automobilista 2 is created by Ryza and started mainly as a Brazilian motorsport series simulator. It's now branched out to the likes of GT3, GT4 and other cars I'll get into later. AMS2 uses the madness engine although it's an old engine now being used for project cars one and two it still holds up extremely well. It uses the proprietary live track 3

Automobilista 2 Review In 2022!  Should You Get It?

 Even so, we can say that many of the mods we've tested are excellent and expand our enjoyment of this sim. Automobilista 2 is actively being developed and it gets a new update round about once a month. The update release notes are quite long and show a will to extract as much as possible out of the game engine and to expand its limits as much as possible. It's impressive what an independent studio can do with such a codebase, so I'd say this one goes to the hopefuls

 Sadly, and as was the case with Project Cars 2, there's only vehicle mods and we don't expect to ever see track mods. And the number of mods for Automobilista 2 is low. Even so, we can say that many of the mods we've tested are excellent and expand our enjoyment of this sim. Automobilista 2 is actively being developed and it gets a new update round about once a month

 The style of the graphics is more on the gamey side than a Seto Corsa Competizione for example, but still quite good. The virtual reality support is excellent and works like a charm as it did in Project Cars 2. In the time since Automobilista 2 came out there's been some mods released for it. Some are incredibly good like the one you can see right now

 The sim has a day and night cycle and supports multiplayer, but the multiplayer abilities are a long way to go yet. This fact may be the reason why the community of Automobilista 2 racers is limited, but as far as we can see growing slowly but steadily. With support from sites like Just Race, setting up a server is very easy and more and more drivers find themselves racing against each other on Automobilista 2. There's still a lot of room for growth though

Automobilista 2 Review 2022 - Worth Buying?

 it sounds awesome in real life, looks awesome in real life, and given that Daytona is probably one of the more famous American circuits, I thought I'd try it around here because I've driven here a lot and I know what a prototype feels like around here. and given the way an automobile is stopping, it'd be a crime not to do some sort of time lapse. So we've got the time acceleration on at times 60. So every minute in real life is 60 minutes in game and I've got my Ai set to 100

 It's gonna be a drag race to the line. just like it always is a Daytona. I should have him though. there's a toe

Try something like Assetto or Project Cars 2 or Automobilista 2 and start with a slow car class… drive normal road speeds (max 100kph) then start to go faster and faster each lap as you learn to adjust.

Basically the title. I bought a g29 and I’ve played forza horizon 4 with it and a little bit of wreck fest. And I cannot for the life of me keep the car straight. Especially going into turns. I have found quite a bit of success on American truck simulator. But am lacking when it comes to gear shifting as that’s still a new concept to me as well. 

But how can I get better at driving with a wheel other than the obvious practice. Are there any guides online to help me learn as well? I have searched and searched YouTube but haven’t found much.

Finally caved and bought a g29 but I’m terrible. How do I get better?

 So that is a really nice feature that I think can't really be overstated as it's missing from a lot of Sims Now in terms of multiplayer at this point in time, What I will say is the general online activity isn't so great on this game. I'm just loading in now and you see there's there's quite a few servers, but not many people in them and that's generally how it's always been in Automobilista 2. It doesn't also have anything like ranked racing, so you know if you want to do like a proper online ranked racing a more competitive racing against drivers of a similar skill to yourself, you're much better off with things like race room especially race room after about 4 p.m

 that is now and they'd have a good time. We're saying as well, if the server host whoever's hosting the the session in multiplayer, if they own the track, you don't need to own the track to actually join it and start racing with them. So that's really nice. So you you don't have to own all the DLC to be able to actually race online, but you will have to if they're only if they're running a car

 We didn't have that issue at all in our eight hours of hosting online sessions. Look at this track guys! Road America Look at the grass, look at the shaders. I'm shallow. If you're shallow, you'll love AMS2 But you know I Think that that pretty much our chronic understeer there into the wall and that pretty much sums it up really

 So it's painfully clear that if you want a K 1 to 1 and Chiron, you'll need to buy the car pack, which I think is 3 bucks for one or 30 bucks for like 40 or something. There are also, only a handful of meaningful races where you can win more than the 7 to 15k you'd typically win. Even that's only like 25K. There is nothing like Gran Turismo of old where you can win hundreds of thousands for some races, a super cool car (like an Indy car)

 Other times you may win 2000 credits, but that's few and far in between. Even more few and far in between is the winning of more than 50k. Maybe you can just sell the cars, nope. You have auction off cars to other players of the game (who don't want a Ford focus), so you're basically stuck with a garage full of garbage cars with no value

 Most of the coolest stuff you'll get will be through random luck on the horizon wheel spins, or you spending extra real dollars to get the coolest cars, like the ones everyone you're racing has and the ones in the advertisements. Yes, you can buy certain Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, etc, but not the top end ones. I personally settled on a 2012 Aventador (the 2016 version seems locked behind team racing scenarios) that was good enough to get me through all of the street type races. The rub is that I wanted the centenario or something like that, which I think is 2

 However, as you play more and more you can see that in typical Microsoft fashion, they are secretly pushing you to pay for the cars in the game with more of your real money if you want specific cars. At first, you'll play and everything is fine, you'll think man I can buy some pretty cool cars if I win just ten races and upgrade them by winning maybe 10 to 20 more races.  However the games top tier cars, the ones a lot of people want like the top end Lamborghini's, the Koenigsegg's, Bugatti's, etc cost north of 2mm a car. It'll take you all game to be able to afford those cars

Good, but monetization attemps galore

 Many describe this game as a 'Car-PG', which is a very accurate description. It includes subtle lifestyle features like character customization and purchasing homes, reminiscent of the Test Drive Unlimited series. Unlike other arcade games of its era it chooses to have a mix between a simulation and an arcade experience; providing casual players a simple experience while having the more technical aspects and complexity available to the hardcore players such as with the Tuning system.

 While it includes the usual supercars, hypercars and sports cars it also includes many common everyday vehicles you'd expect to see. The game also provides different experiences in the form of Road Racing, Off-Road Racing, Drag Racing, Drifting etc. The tuning and livery design systems are designed very well and the game allows the community to share their own designs and tunes for anyone to use which reward the creators as well.

 The multiplayer experience of the game is far from perfect. While Horizon Life works very well, letting you join other players, Online Adventures on the other hand are plagued with rammers and meta cars taking away the diversity in the game in terms of cars.

Although many updates have been made to the game since launch to remedy this issue, it has not completely fixed it. The game also discourages the use of its vast collection of cars and limiting your options to a few 'meta cars'

This game has to be one of the most stunning looking games out there. The game looks excellent for its relatively modest performance requirements. It manages to run at 60 fps on High-Ultra settings on my 6 year old PC at the time of this review. Subsequently the game produces some of the most realistic screenshots using the in-game photo mode

 Lots of vinyls, paints, wheels, and bodykit options. Upgrade the car performance with motor swaps and all the parts. This game is everything I want! I'd highly recommend Forza Horizon 4!

With 700 cars luckily there is enough variety for anyone. But for those looking for more, you can custom tune each vehicle to your own liking, with a variety of parts and overhauls, including full blown engine swaps. For those who are not gear heads, the community has you covered and you can even download custom tunes from others. Forza Horizon 4 is one of the most generous racing games I have ever played with the sheer amount of cars they dump on you

 And once you have that dream car, don't forget to give it that unique look. Most cars can have some visual parts swapped out, ranging from spoilers to bumpers and more, and you can add custom designs to the paint jobs too. Want to race around in Jurassic Park Jeep? Want to race around in the Bandit 1 from Smokey and the Bandit? Forza has you covered. And if you just want to look at the cars in all their glory, Forza also has a nice little feature called Forzavista which allows to do things with your car like opening and closing doors, and for some vehicles you can open up trunks and hoods and look inside at the engines

 You can win cars from events. You can win cars from wheelspins. you can win cars from leveling up. You can win cars from performing certain tasks

Maybe fine for casual use but if you have tried more serious racing games, wheel implementation is bad. The game is definitely optimized for controllers first, then keyboard, and steering wheel last
