 We can't get you one'' and i'm like ``. Where can i get one of these apus from'', so i jumped on to Aliexpress and lo and behold readily available? You can just buy them pop them in the cart way you go so i got myself a Ryzen, 5, 4650g and popped it in this thing. Didn'T need to update any biases, and then i got two sodium sticks of 8 gigabytes of ddr4 memory now weighing in, and this is fully packed with the cooler apu memory and m.2 installed at 1

 Even if it's a starter, m.2 1080p video editing will be absolutely fine on this little unit right here, the included apu is perfect for doing that. 1080P. Editing, whether it's on davinci, resolve or adobe premiere pro, but this thing's suited for that, and so if you want something, that's portable, very minimalistic setup, this is going to provide that, but still have that little bit of power ready to do that light productivity

 I couldn't really measure this properly because for some reason it was blocking out river tuner, so i actually couldn't get an accurate benchmark, but for what it's worth low settings at 1080p, full rescale was playing very well for cs. Go then, when i turned it onto high settings, it was starting to stutter and the stuttering was very noticeable. Though, moving on to fortnite, we got a playable 54 average fps at 1080p, full res scale with uh competitive settings, that's the lowest settings and then the epic view, distance, 37 and 20 on the one percent and point one percent lows, which i was kind of surprised: The one percent point one cent lows: weren't, really like stuttering, hardcore, which i kind of thought it may have with that sodium memory. It is standard am4, mounting situation, a retention mechanism, all of that, so any am4 cpu cooler that will fit in about 46 millimeters. You can totally install on this if you've got one of the old school

ASRock Deskmini X300 and Ryzen 4750G - Unboxing, Benchmarks and Linux

 Minis are provided as bare bones kits, requiring the owner to provide their own, so dim memory, storage and cpu. In this case, a socket am4 apu from amd, despite the x in the model name, there isn't much of a gamer aesthetic to the desk mini x300 compared to say intel's gaming nooks. This is a fairly conservative black box design with four tiny phillips head screws on the back, allowing the entire back panel and motherboard tray to come out as a single unit. Although regional contents may differ, the version i received, came supplied without a wi-fi adapter, but did come with a rather spartan-looking heatsink, apparently there's room for a low-profile cooler from noctua or cryorig, and i could remove the shroud from one of the myriad amd wraith stealths

 The only thing letting the 4350g down is the one percent lows, though, as far as i can tell this tends to occur mostly in areas with foliage effects and depending on where on the map you are, you may find either apu suffers these kinds of performance drops. I know some people probably look at the games. I select and think who cares just show me how it runs. Gta 5

 fortnite seemed to gain about 20 in performance mode, with one percent lows remaining much more stable than without the overclock Dx12 doesn't benefit quite as much, but likewise sees a big boost in one percent lows: valheim genshin impact and rocket league all gain about 18 to 20. Overall, warzone only sees a 12 to 14 percent improvement, which could as easily be down to run, to run variances apex legends gains, virtually nothing on average, but seems to have much more stable frame, pacing overall and finally valorents a game that this cpu could push up. To 180 fps, with even a modest graphics card, like a r9 270x gains about 14 hovering just under an average of 120 fps wrapping. This up, then, isn't as easy as i thought it might be

 The 1 lows do tell a different story, though this would appear to be just the luck of the draw when playing fortnite running in dx12 with competitive settings sees the 4350g. Take the lead getting close to the magic 60 on average dropping from 1080 to say 1600x900 or using the resolution scale. It could help push that frame rate over the line. Valheim is a close race and neither result is exactly better than the other, just less bad

Media players are the worst because they rely on getting media from somewhere and unless you're running a media server like plex or emby then you're kinda SOL anyways so you May's as well just stick with Chromecast/Apple TV/Roku or whatever you use. Smart speakers are a bit different cause all you really want to happen is for a computer to recognise a sentence and flip a switch or turn the light on

Easy bit first. You need a controller that manages your smart devices locally (on your network) and that means a computer managing those things. My personal favourite option for this is a raspberry pi 4 running homeassistant (checkout r/homeassistant). You can hook up all your stuff locally and if you have lights and switches that themselves don't rely on connecting to the internet (zigbee, bluetooth, zwave, etc

I mean the four gigabyte version is just nice to have, but if you're not planning on doing anything like desktop oriented, like you know, running loading full Linux and like using it as a little mini PC, you're, probably going to be okay with the two gigabyte variant. I would say, but I would immediately overclock it with a good case

Casings for the Raspberry Pi 3 have evolved substantially over kind of the course of its life, so naturally the Raspberry Pi 4 had the same thing happened just because of how popular the Raspberry Pi brand is - and we have this casing here that I saw it looks Pretty good great reviews - and it has its own cooling solution inside that's something that the Raspberry Pi 4 you have to be mindful of is that it does get fairly hot. So we're gon na install it into here and then we'll kind of go over and play some games on this guy

Bought for projects with my kids as they're getting into learning all sorts of things, but buyer beware for sure.
