 I had an expensive Microsoft keyboard. I don't recall the model number or serial number but that one it was very expensive. It was like a seven or eight bucks and whenever I ate the food would get stuck like in between the keys and then you weren't able to clean it off and then it would like just once you tried cleaning it or prying it it would totally destroy the keyboard. After a while it stopped working but I feel like these keyboards are more airtight like crumbs are not getting inside of it so it probably will last longer than the pricier Microsoft keyboard that I have

 Prices can fluctuate so by the time you're watching this review it could be slightly different but that's the price that I paid for this keyboard and I think that's a very reasonable price for a Bluetooth keyboard. Since this keyboard is completely rechargeable with the USB cord you don't have to use any batteries. So you don't have to worry about plugging in AAA or AA batteries. You just charge it and of course you can use it while it's being charged so that's very convenient

 So I purchased this on Amazon for $26.99. Really great value for a wireless keyboard that saves a ton of desk space

 It’s supposed to inspire a sense of reliability, but that’s a wait and see thing. It has a little flex, but nothing that would make it seem too flimsy. Build quality isn’t evil. Although the seam on the back edge where the rise is noticeable by feel, it doesn’t disqualify it from being usable

 These particular keys will give you a false sense of stroke. If you feel as if they’ve been pressed with the appropriate amount of pressure and times, you’ll for sure have a composition with enough typos to feel like you just came out of a grammar Nazi’s English class. They also feel cheap. There is, what I figure to be, a nonslip type of material on them which doesn’t feel great

 Granted, I’m sure you could solve that issue easily with a wrist/palm rest. But it lays flatter that other keyboards, which makes an uncomfortable experience that much more. With only something upwards of 1/2 an inch of rise in the back and no manner of adjustment, you’re essentially stuck with either throwing a wedge underneath or returning this keyboard. I’m going with the former because in today’s world, I’m forced financially to make some compromises

First Impressions: UPDATED

4 gigahertz wireless keyboard. Now I've had this keyboard for over a year and a half. Now I really want to put it through its paces before I give you guys a review. So this particular keyboard, obviously it's wireless

 I have not had a single issue with any of the keys in a year and a half, and using this keyboard nearly every single day, all of the keys are exactly as they were the day that I bought them. And the keys are still really, really responsive and they're actually still really quiet too. Like you guys can hear it's a, it's a, it's not one of those like really clicky keyboards. It is a, it's much quieter than you would think

 So a year and a half is amazing for a keyboard. And I put this thing through its paces. It's traveled thousands of miles across the country with me, you know, on different job trips and things like that. And it's held up extremely well

Logitech K480 Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard Review

 I've caught or readjusted it countless times. However, my tablet has also fallen to the hard floor or table multiple times because of this. This is a big design flaw because tablets can be very pricey.

Great keyboard, bad design

 It's not what I'd use for any serious work or gaming, but for light tasks and just to have a keyboard it's more than good enough. I would've preferred if it had 2 bluetooth and an USB similar to how other Logitech devices like the Pebble mouse have it, but 3 bluetooth is good enough for the most part.  Battery life is solid enough. It's a bluetooth keyboard, it's not exactly a power hog

 I found out the hard way that my Tab 7+ was just a bit too large to fit into the groove. I didn't expect this since I don't consider it to be particularly large, but it was. An iPad Air fit in perfectly though, and if I put it in vertically I can fit other things in (though with the 7+ it was too tall and prone to tipping for my comfort).  As mentioned above, the typing experience isn't particularly nice

 This means that for further away keys you have to reach for such as backspace you'll often encounter unexpected resistance, interrupting the flow of your typing. Moreover, the weight of each key is very much uneven with various keys being much more resistant to being pushed down than others. This lack of evenness doesn't inspire much confidence in the quality of the product in general, even if my confidence in it wasn't particularly high to begin with due to the low price.  At the end of the day though, for $30, you can't demand too much

Clunky and Plastic-y, but Cheap and Usable

 This is another design flaw. I use a UAG case which has a built in tilting feature so it will not cause any problems. To solve the above mentioned problems I have propped the keyboard temporarily with a few posted notes pads and I'm using the built in tilt feature of my case to make it work a bit more comfortable. I found that the weight of the keyboard is actually benificial

 It stays in place while typing. I have one wireless keyboard that I use that I have to chase all over the desk because of it being light weight and have to use a rubber backed place mat to keep it steady. You'll have no trouble with this keyboard shifting. The setup was simple

 So the only things I don't like is it's not backlight capability and it lays too flat making it pretty rough on the wrists. Other than that I'm in love with the keyboard and have no trouble giving it a great recommendation.  This is a very preliminary FIRST IMPRESSION review of the Bluetooth K480 by Logitech. I'll be back with a revised review after I get to know the keyboard and it's features

 Now I have seen other companies offer keyboards for the iPad but nothing was being offered for the new iPad Pro that I could find and as a long time satisfied user of Logitech keyboards, mice and other products I felt relatively safe with the purchase. With Amazons return policy it even makes it a safer buy. The keyboard arrived actually a day early using Prime Shipping, there were other items ordered, which has only happened once before which was a surprise. The package is the standard Logitech white and ocean green retail box well sealed without all the plastic and was easy to open

Updated: You're really going to like the keyboard

 I use other logitech products which last much longer under much heavier use.  Pros: - Solid construction. - Keyboard types nicely. I thought the key presses would be worse or more difficult because they look kind of odd in the photos but it's easy and comfortable to type on

 My dread was completely unfounded and I'm happy to say Logitech sent me a replacement keyboard that has resolved most of my complaints in my original review. Keyboard switching WORKS! I can switch between a windows computer and an iOS device seamlessly without any extra key-presses. The power switch works as well. I cannot comment on battery life yet as I only just received my replacement unit

 I'll try to get a warranty replacement through logitech but be warned that this review is biased.  Persistent problems: - Key presses will stick and I'll have to turn the device on and off and re-connect and hope that the 'a' key is no longer on repeat. - Switching doesn't automatically connect to a device (this could be the devices problem or my defective unit, I don't know). If I switch from position 1 to 3, I would expect it to automatically connect to my computer (or phone), instead I have to press the bluetooth connect button once

Faulty product but other issues too

I did not like how it pairs with a Fire HD 10 plus tablet. It took 2 people to do it. Kept timing out before I could get the code in to pair it. Finally, after some research I had a friend help

 Additionally, my OnePlus One fits while wearing its Diztronic Ultra TPU case, as does the Galaxy S4 in a UAG case that I gave to my fiancee. The cases I've tried have fit so well that I'm beginning to wonder whether other reviewers have been trying to cram Otterbox Defenders into this otherwise capacious slot. Word to the wizened: If the slot were any larger, our kit would probably fall out.  If you're looking for the specific compatibility of a keyboard designed for your device (iOS users, I'm gaping at you) then prepare to be mildly disappointed -- until you parse the differences in the layout

 Its slot also seems quite spacious. As of this writing, all of my largephones and tablets fit in it without needing to shed their cases. My iPad Air not only fits in the slot but does so while wearing its ZeroChroma Folio-Slide case about which the iLounge reviewer said this: "From our perspective Folio-Slide is the best case we've ever seen." Despite its good looks, I have yet to test my UAG case for the iPA, but only because that rugged-looking UAG's stand collapses frequently when I happen to touch my iPad's touchscreen; not so with the unflappable Folio-Slide

 Word to the wizened: If the slot were any larger, our kit would probably fall out.  If you're looking for the specific compatibility of a keyboard designed for your device (iOS users, I'm gaping at you) then prepare to be mildly disappointed -- until you parse the differences in the layout. Darting in and out of home screens isn't as easy as it would be on the iPad-Air-specific Ultrathin Case by Logic -- until you realize you can do it by pressing the F1 key without pressing fn at the same time. All of the media buttons work perfectly without keystrokes; F3 brings up the onscreen keyboard; etc

 The size of the K480 is welcome in terms of comfort. It makes for accurate typing but is also quite conspicuous when you're sitting in a wifi coffeehouse. That's partly due to its preschool color scheme, which makes the chartreuse trim look decidedly playtoy yellow.  Even so, the K480 seems to pair with everything and allows you to switch between three user-defined bluetooth configurations (mine are set for Windows, Android and iOS)

Garish, Loud and Large but Pwns Its Purpose

  Overall, for the price it's well worth the buy as it saves a ton of money, especially if you have multiple devices. Outside of the few cons I mentioned, I definitely recommend this product.
