 This fragrance mainly because of two reasons is super timeless.  You do smell like Aqua Di Gio, the famed best selling men's fragrance ever. Everybody knows that scent profile. Even if you're not into fragrances, at the very least it's going to smell familiar to you. Whereas this is just refined and matured

 It works great in high heat, yet it's strong enough to work in the cold. Dark enough, strong enough, cut through the cold no problem. It dresses up, it dresses down. This is a true signature scent in every sense of the phrase

 This dresses up a whole lot better than the original Aqua Di Gio or any of its other flankers because the other flankers really deem themselves to be a bit more playful, a bit more casual. Whereas this one takes itself a little bit more serious. It's one that wears well with the suit in the warmest of weather, can go on evenings a lot better than the others. I'm not saying you can't wear the others out on dates and stuff like that, but this one just smells like it fits an evening situation a lot better than the others

Looks and smells like the real deal. With all of the good counterfeit products available it’s important to buy from a trusted source. This is a legitimate and genuine product as far as I can tell. The seller seems to be a respectable and legitimate store

For those who are a fan of this fragrance, this is the longest lasting version I have found yet. Good for almost all day.

 Like it just smells earthy and dirty when combined with patchouli. If you imagine patchouli, oak moss, sort of seed oil, all those sort of things, it can smell a little bit too like you've trampled in dirty, damp leaves, especially mixed with the aquatic notes in this, the blue notes. But this has been done really, really well. This has been planned out and really mathematically placed

 This is a real expansive, clean, green, blue feel to it. On to my final thoughts. It just smells of a classic man, to be honest to you. It smells really snappy, clean, beautiful sort of top note, sort of quite effervescent

 It's got a dry snappiness to it, a very clean feel to it. So they're using clean, white musks within this. Some ozonic notes. That thing's called Dimetol, I can smell, which is a really beautiful blue aroma chemical

 Like it smells like you got game and you're good at what you do and you do it effortlessly. You know what I mean? So whether you're a guy, a girl, whoever, if you just wanna smell like that, this fragrance is a nice one to go for. Now, a long time ago, well, not a long time ago, it hasn't even been a year yet, but I did a video comparing this and Club de Nuit Intense Woman by Armof. It's right here

 But again, remember that it's not gonna have a long scent trail. It's not gonna have great projection. It is meant to be something that's intimate, close to you so that when you have a cuddle session or whatever you plan to do, you can rock this fragrance. To me, this is super romantic and people have described this as a Valentine's day in a bottle type of fragrance

 The thing is, this is a unique fragrance, but it's a familiar type of smell, definitely amped up. Like this has that classy, sophisticated type of vibe that it's definitely oozing off, but it's that scent that just makes, like it's so alluring to smell and it just draws people in. When I have worn this fragrance, I have had so many people in my neck because it just radiates so nicely, especially when they're in your scent bubble. You know what I mean? If you love physical contact, if you love hugs and all that sort of stuff and you've got this fragrance on, those hugs are gonna last a very, very, very long time

 It's so beautifully blended and that dark chocolate smell is just, oh God, it's so seductive, it's attractive, it's sexy. This is a fragrance you wear if you want somebody just like with their tongue on your neck, it's that good. This scent, when I myself wear it, I would fall in love with myself.  They lady who sprays six times probably doesn't know how to use or bought a knock off. If you want your smells to last long maybe you should moisturize so you skin doesn't soak up the smell too fast. This needs to mixed with another scent tone it down.

 It's quite apparent. First of all, I thought it was something completely different. I thought it was something like luxe alone and then it changed. But it absolutely has this sort of tea note to it, it's quite apparent

 Fruit molecules, acetates, domesco molecules, and then there's sort of slight amounts of camphor in it. You can sort of smell the camphor and camphor smells of mothballs, but it trace amounts, you sort of can detect it, so it gives elevation. Interestingly camphor, when it's mixed with cashmarin and other sort of ambry molecules, turns really acidic, turns horrible. But when it's used in a formulation like this, it gives elevation and sort of dryness, like dryness to it

 So I had to give me something like muscone, musconone. Musconone apparently smells of the natural musk that we have as human beings. And I don't know quite how I feel about that. I don't think that's true

 There is a dry, woody note in the middle and that smells similar to oud wood. Sort of there's a slight similarity, absolutely not with all the floral notes and everything, not at all. But the way that the oud accord in the Tom Ford oud wood was composed is similar to this. Very nice

Perfumer Reviews 'Noir de Noir' by Tom Ford

Just want to discuss Tom Ford Noir de Noir and why it has become my new favourite fragrance. Recently, my partner bought me a surprise 100ml bottle of this as I have been eyeballing it for some time and tried the Armaf alternative which is still a great smell, but the OG is a different animal altogether.

Tom Ford Noir de noir: She is here to stay and to slay these cooler nights. Sexy rose and patchouli with a lovely ambery dry down.

This is a really hard one for me but it is also a fun list to create IMO. Luckily, while thought provoking, it is only hypothetical. Here are my 5 and why. 

1. Bleu de Chanel EDP - Versatile and great for most occasions, this would be my every day/signature fragrance. 

2. Armaf Milestone - Summer - Creed’s Millesime Imperial is one of if not my favorite summer fragrances. The problem is it performs like trash on my skin and is incredibly expensive when you compare it’s performance to cost. Milestone is an incredible clone at a literal fraction of the price. 

3. YSL L’homme - Spring - Can’t really say enough about how much I love this fragrance. It is great for the spring but would also fill in the gaps when I didn’t want to wear BDC because it is also very versatile. 

4. Parfums de Marley Habdan - Fall - Fall in a bottle and my personal favorite in the line. Highly underrated and unique. To me it just smells so incredibly good while cutting through the fall air. 

5. Angels’ Share By Killian - Winter - One of the most delicious smelling fragrances of all time in the winter to my nose. I guess I’m a sucker for gourmands and this to me is one of the best of all time. If memory serves me correctly, which it does, it was very popular with the female crowd as well :)
