ARCTIC P14 PWM PST vs Phanteks T30-120

With the new card, temps were hovering anywhere between 70°C to 78°C on some games and varying ambient temps. The below list are max temps reached during these games with my previous top 120mm fans and my current 3060 Ti: 71°C Rainbow Six Siege 78°C Apex Legends 74°C DiRT Rally 2.0 75°C Monster Hunter World 76°C Shadow of the Tomb Raider All games were tested for 45 minutes, max possible settings for each game on a 1080p 144hz monitor; Ray Tracing enabled for Shadow of Tomb Raider, Ultra setting. As mentioned previously, I have a Phanteks P400 case with a front-mounted NZXT X52 cooling a Ryzen 5 3600 paired with a 3060 Ti from Asus, the DUAL OC model and the two 120mm fans mounted at the top

BIOS adjustments will work through the motherboard so customization of the fan control is straight forward. These should just go along with any configuration a user sets up. Simply leaving the BIOS at factory settings is also an option - the point being; install to the frame, plug into the board, and no other action is required on the fan itself. Installation was pretty easy as well

I picked these up for my ITX PC. I run an H100i on my 5800X and an EVGA Hybrid kit on my 2080 Ti and the 3 pack was perfect for my setup. The fans themselves are much more quiet and efficient a lower RPMs than both stock fans I was running. I run them in the 2000rpm mode and have them running about ~60% all the time and for my setup I can barely hear the PC compared to before

A cheap pair of Noise-Reducing earmuffs paired with earplugs eliminated most of the noise, at least made it tolerable. If possible, I would suggest perhaps moving your PC into a bunker, or your neighbors shed, especially if they have a barking dog, as the fans will drown them out.

Short recommendation: This is probably the best fan on the market right now (as of 2021-09). Be sure to measure the available space in your chassis (or beside your radiator) to ensure the extra depth of a 30 mm thick fan won't be an issue, and buy this fan if it will fit. Unless noise levels are absolutely critical for your work, nothing else seems to beat the T30-120's versatility at the moment, and the fan would likely do well regardless of whether you need better performance (at higher noise) or better acoustics (lower volume) with still decent performance.
