 Honestly I was very disappointed. I can't really imagine an application where I would use these, I have another slim fan made by scythe I got some time ago and it works so much better it's not even funny.  So won't be buying Artic fans again. Lesson learned

Wasn't really a good value for the money

 The NF-A12x15 fan I was using previously wasn't too loud, but had an annoying "humm" to it, making the sound profile pretty unpleasant. The Arctic P12 Slim however, is a bit quieter and has a much more pleasant noise profil!.

**Noise**: It's actually pretty quiet (quieter than my full-tower 5820k + 2x GTX 970  build). The SF600 Gold was the loudest part of the system after undervolting the GPU, so I replaced it with an SF750 Platinum (which is in passive mode most of the time). The NF-A12x15 fan I was using previously wasn't too loud, but had an annoying "humm" to it, making the sound profile pretty unpleasant. The Arctic P12 Slim however, is a bit quieter and has a much more pleasant noise profil!

Velka 5 (V1) with RTX 3070 FE + 3700x

 3 pin rather than pwm, but very quiet and moves a bunch of air. Gelid is my go-to brand for quality and silent oddball sized fans.

 The other fan is likely going out. The noise it makes as it comes to its end is horrible and best described like this. "An annoying vibrating sound grinding with components moving in the opposite direction without lubrication." I believe during that time it cost about $10

Would Noctua have used a distance as great as 10 meters?  But again, it's almost 39 dB(A) at 1m, and at that distance, the noise from NF-A12x25 PWM is significant. The noise signature makes it more noticeable because it's not just the white noise associated with rushing air. Instead, it has a prominent whine that my spectrum analyzer app shows to be 323Hz

I just feel like its a whiny fan. I think I like the noise signature of the old Noctua blade design better. This one may put up better numbers on a meter, but the numbers fail to reflect the real-world human experience.  On the plus side, it seems to move a fairly broad stream of air, which might make it desirable as an intake fan

Not as quiet as the price suggests

 So the next step was the best air cooling solution I could find: The Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4. With my case the stock NF-a15 fans for that heatsink assembly wouldn't clear both the ram and the case side panel. Thanks to some reviews for this fan along with Noctua saying it was a compatible match, I decided to try these fans for the heatsink in order to keep the twin fan capability. I also opted to replace my (7) NF-A14 PWM case fans with (6) NF-A12X25 fans

  I couldn't stand the AIO pump noise from the NZXT Kraken x62 on my Ryzen 2700x build. After listening to a couple of other systems with the EVGA CLC280, Corsair H115, and H150 I determined that my ears are just tuned to pick up water pump noise. So the next step was the best air cooling solution I could find: The Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4. With my case the stock NF-a15 fans for that heatsink assembly wouldn't clear both the ram and the case side panel
