Otherwise, looks awesome, fabric seems pretty tough, very comfortable, the hoody is so warm i barely need a tuque anymore, and all around very warm for any activity in less than extreme environments.

But I don’t see these as grievances as much as data points. This jacket is ideal for camp comfort, particularly in cold, wet conditions. Under these circumstances, you’d be hard pressed to find a better down jacket. Final Word When it comes to warmth and water resistance for the weight, the Rab Microlight Alpine Jacket can’t be beat

Certainly a 5-star product if the sizing was accurate. I'm pretty bummed that I had to return it. I suppose the winter coat audessey continues.

This isn't as packable/small as I had hoped for and the screenprint of the RAB label is pretty pronounced. I know it's a little thing, but I prefer more subtle labels. Could be a good jacket, if you a) don't need something really small/packable and b) order the right size.

Finally, their gear has nice aesthetics - fit, design, colorways. When you see North Face and Patagonia everywhere, it's nice to rock something different.

Ordered up a size to leave room for layers. Love the fit, color, level of warmth and style of this jacket.

I was looking for a mid weight coat and this was perfect. Warm and comfortable without looking like a marshmallow!

I got this for my daughter so she can endeavor in her rock climbing activities and STAY WARM! To test it out she went on the back of a motorcycle in December with this coat on and it kept her toasty warm!
